Clean room - rates somewhat higher than other Holiday Inn Express’ in Texas I was in Vernon, Texas on business. Not many choices for motels. This property was clean with a good location. My room was very nice with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. That’s important to me. As well as proper working heater and AC which worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the window shades kept the room very dark at night. The TV remote was easy to use while selecting different tv channels. The morning breakfast wasn’t much to brag on. No yogurt, no individual milk cartons. Three choices of bulk cereal. Some biscuits and gravy. As well as powdered scrambled eggs and some sausage links. Lighting for working at the dest area could have been better. Rates were somewhat high compared to other Holiday Inn Express properties, but there again, not many choices in Vernon Texas.

A gem of a Holiday Inn Gem in a small town. We were driving to New Mexico and had no place to stay. All nearby hotels were booked but Keith at the front desk made a point to call us back and tell us someone had cancelled at the last minute and he would hold a room. The room was clean and there was indoor pool and sauna that you could tell were all very well maintained. And the gym was functional and all equipment was in good order. And in the morning they had a really nice breakfast including fresh cinnamon roles and oatmeal. I would highly recommend this place if you are ever needing a place to stay in Vernon Texas!

A consistently awesome hotel! I have stayed at this hotel in Vernon, Texas, twice before, and I wrote glowing reviews, both in 2008 and 2010. I wasn't sure what to expect12 years later. After all, you would think that after 12 years a hotel would probably look a bit dated. That is not the case here at all! I didn't ask, but they have obviously remodeled to keep everything up to date. Seriously, this hotel could have been built last year. The king bed was amazingly comfortable with crisp (and yet somehow soft!) new white linens. The bathroom seemed brand new, with great lighting and was as clean as could be. I loved the newly installed blind system for the windows instead of curtains. So much neater and easy to open and close. The blackout blind knocked out all the light from the parking lot. With a long bench for luggage storage, a nice kitchenette with some paper supplies and can opener, a full length mirror and a great TV, this was a very comfortable room. One great addition was a charging station. You could charge several devices on the desktop and a phone by each side of the bed. Breakfast was pretty good. (I'd personally rather have fluffy plain scrambled eggs instead of the premade omelet with peppers in it) but the sausages and biscuits were good. The coffee and warm cinnamon rolls were perfect as always. I really couldn't recommend this lovely Holiday Inn more!!

Great hotel The staff was very friendly at check in. Call us before we arrived to ask about our room request and our digital check in. Told her I would like a first floor room, 2 queens or king, since i am visually impaired. The ADA room she put us in was awesome!The hotel is up to date and clean. Our guest room and bathroom has great lighting!

Prize Winner Without a doubt the best Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed in. And I love this chain so I've tried many. My room was away from the noise which I had requested. The AC worked very well. The linens were in excellent condition (which is very difficult during this time when hotel linens are almost impossible to get) and most importantly everything was immaculate. The bathtub was so clean that I could use it rather than shower. And before I had checked out in the morning, they had already vacuumed the elevator! The halls were clean, the breakfast area was clean and so organized! Just an outstanding stay. The management and employees here have done a SUPER job.
