Absolutely loved it! Best and favorite hotel in all my many years of traveling! It’s absolutely stunning, so creatively curated with amazing modern art. Every where you look is a feast for the eyes. Dinner at Amista was spectacular, from the delicious and varied menu to the faultless expert service. And finally, I had to make several changes to the reservation before we arrived, and the staff was so wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Truly one of my top travel experiences…Five hundred stars!!

Stunning Hotel My husband and I just returned from spending three nights in the spectacular Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amista. We travel through Italy often and this was truly the most spectacular hotel I have ever seen. The art throughout and around every corner is stunning, the rooms are creative and beautiful, the spa is beyond anyone's imagination as are the grounds. Mr. Facchin and Beatriz are amazing hosts and so wonderful. All in all, the best three days in Italy - ever!

Does not live up to SLH brand expectations We came here for our 33rd wedding anniversary celebration. The Michelin starred chef and team delivered as expected and exceeded expectations by including us in a fabulous terrace dinner at the Are a before the Opera, Aida. I can’t say enough on how great they were. The special suite we took pains to book after researching the art and location failed to deliver in a surprisingly awful way. We had no water for two days. We were given poor excuses and explanations and no offers for remediation or make good. O ly when our centurion concierge called and complained did they grudgingtmove us to a suite on the bottom floor with a terrible view of the car park. The front office was singularly uninterested in our care. We had no water for shower or toilet for two days. After expecting it to be repaired and offered weak explanations we finally had to move to another room. Having gone to many high end places this ranks near the bottom Of our experiences. If it had t been for the restaurant staff who daily checked in on us it would have been a total loss.

Poor service, multiple issues Reception was understaffed upon check-in. Arrived 2 hours before check-in (1pm). Asked if we could check in early - they said no, check in was at 3pm. No element of we will see what we can do, very much just a flat no. I asked if we can arrange laundry. Was quoted €200 euros for a small bag. When I explained that other better hotels had a per Kg charge, again was met with a computer says no answer… really disappointing.. I made the request prior to arrival for our rooms to be together. This was on booking.com. I received a reply confirming the rooms would be next to each other. Upon check in, it became clear that one of our rooms was not in the main house and one was - both were the same room type, so not as if the main house one was more expensive or anything. Had to have a discussion with the receptionist to resolve the issue which culminated in me having to dig out the message feed from booking.com. Whole check in process took ages and was a massive pain. Lovely building, but not 5 star service…
