Best hotel to stay in Verona We have always had good experiences at Holiday Inn. The room was spacious, lighting was actually pretty good, internet connection was good, refrigerator & microwave worked well. Place was quiet, staff was courteous, bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. I did not get a chance to check out their exercise room or pool so I cannot give an objective comment. Free breakfast had limited offerings but this seems to be the norm anywhere you stay. Would definitely stay here again.

No coffee! Why wife and I were in town for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend in 2024. When we travel, holiday inn express is our go to hotel chain. There were two things that made this location fall short of expectations. First, there was almost always someone smoking right outside of the front door. We requested that perhaps the entryway could be designated as a no smoking area, but continued to have to pass through a cloud of smoke when entering the hotel for the duration of our trip. Second, there was only one pot of caffeinated coffee in the breakfast area. Whenever new coffee was being brewed the pot was in the kitchen and no coffee was available for a prolonged period of time - I had two breakfasts where no coffee was available. Ironically, a sign above the location where the coffee should have been read “must have coffee.” A sentiment I agree with completely.

Nice short stay overall We chose this hotel because it had lifts for handicapped for pool and hot tub. Neither were functional, but they did give up 5,000 points for the inconvenience. The breakfast was good and the room itself was nice. I do hope they put notice on their website that both lifts are down until further notice.

Best place to stay to feel like at Home. We stayed Saturday to Monday. After driving all day, during a snow storm, we checked into . The check inn was quick and easy. The clerks working were pleasant and even directed us that if we needed anything else during our stay, do not hesitate to let them know. Our room was a handicapped, king size, whirlpool suite . The room was huge and very clean. We decided to take a swim and enjoy the larger whirlpool. Not only does this hotel have seats to assist handicapped people get into the pool, but also the large whirlpool. The pool area was clean and much to my suprise they provided beach size towels at the pool! That was great to wrap up in after swimming. We came for an event in Madison. Monday morning I goofed and didn't check what hours the Breakfast provided with our stay were. They ended at 9:30. We walked in about 9:40. A sweet youngman was cleaning up the pancake area. He did notify us that breakfast ended at 9:30, but we were more than welcome to the hot food that was still out and bagels, juice, yogurt, coffee. He went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated, eventhough it was my fault we were late. Check out was easy. The beds were soft and comfortable. My husband wants me to now find a comforter just like the one we had in our room. I would highly recommend staying at this 5 Star Holiday Inn.

Noisy and Scary Woke up at 2:30 AM to loud music. The source was from outside in the back parking lot where 6-7 people in 2-3 cars were playing loud music. Looked like a bunch of drunks. But the fact they were this disruptive in public, made me think of a gang or something similar.
