Best Choice around This hotel should get 6 stars, great experience from the minute I walked in. It reminds me of one of Hiltons signature hotels. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Room is very clean and the right temperature. The room was very large and looked brand new. The Battle field is walking distance and right out my window. Again i would give 6 stars if it was available.

What has happened? Dirty, lack of maintenance. We have stayed at this location at least 10 times in the last 10 years & the hotel has gone down considerably since our last stay. It is so dirty. The staff is friendly & the only redeeming quality. Our room smelled bad, had a leaking shower that kept us up all night, and mold all over the bathroom. The elevator floor numbers are worn off, the exit doors are covered in dirty hand prints, everything has been ignored. The carpets are in need of replacement, and our pillows were lumpy. So disappointing as this has previously been such a good experience.

Room super cold on check-in. Torn drapery, dirty shower, tired hotel Our room was 62 degrees on arrival. The shower was really dirty and the drapery was torn. One of the two elevators did not allow access to our secure floor which was quite an inconvenience. The hotel is quite in need of update.. it is a tired hotel.

This Hampton Inn needs to close. Hampton Inn Vicksburg - a hard NO! Spare yourself this hotel in dire need of a total overhaul. Prime location across from the battlefield but it’s so worn out, NOTHING like the photos on their website. I mean, it’s BAD. ($185.00 for one night so an average cost but you’ll wish you could shove your suitcases in the washer at home because everything reeks after a night there.) Chunks out of ALL the furniture, upholstery literally so worn out the stuffing is coming through, stains on the carpet, ceilings and walls with leaks painted over, bedspread shredding, smelly pillows, and the room has the strongest unpleasant “hotel smell.” The bed is completely worn out. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The hotel is just a gross experience overall. The one good thing to note is the people. Very nice and it’s not their fault Hampton Inn is ignoring these rooms. *No point in asking for another room as we wound up running into people on a tour talking about how bad their hotel was. Yes, you guessed it; same Hampton Inn. We wondered WHY it hasn’t been updated, or as they said tear it out to the studs and redo it thoroughly!

Not accessible friendly Room are outdated but clean. My main issue is we reserved an ADA king room over the phone. I was assured it was ADA. Upon arrival to the room, it was NOT ADA. I am in a wheelchair. The lady at the front desk in the evening kept asking “who’d you talk to” and was not welcoming or helpful. I wouldn’t have booked here if the gentleman I talked with had been forthcoming that the ADA rooms were booked. We were tired from a day of driving and stayed last night but not again.
