Pretty good for the price We have been on a road trip and staying at many different accommodations. This was not bad, but missing some niceties: no tissues supplied, no luggage rack/stand for unpacking. The breakfast is really no more - offering only what I call snack bars. OTOH, the place was quiet and the staff we interacted with were very pleasant. We did like the lamps with electric outlets but the lights were too bright - blinding. They need dimmers or lower wattage. The easy chair was the hardest thing I have sat on since sitting on a rock. A missed opportunity to make a good impression for guests.

Very dissapointing Really dissapointing experience. Pool not open due to pump issue which was main reason we booked this place. Room really shabby especially toilet with stained toilet seat and broken toilet holder. In desperate need of refurbishment. Bed linen and pillows really poor quality. No cups despite having coffee machine. Staff unfriendly and unaccomodating. Cynthia was quite rude. Local area had lots of fast food options but all generally poor quality food.

Good for one night Friendly staff. Pet friendly rooms. Everything but the floor seemed clean. Our dog found a bone of some sort under the bed. Many hotels have hard surface floors that look clean but if you wipe them with a damp paper towel you may be surprised. Most of the other guest seemed like construction workers, no families. The pool is also out of order.

Disappointed PROS: My husband and I stayed here 7 nights while touring Vicksburg and vicinity. Excellent location: close to gas stations, restaurants / fast food, laundromat, grocery store, CVS and Walgreens. Not too far from the battlefield and historic downtown. CONS: 1.) Covid restrictions: the breakfast was grab-n-go only (juice, coffee, granola bars). We understand this to a point, however other comparable hotels are offering full breakfasts again with precautions still taken. 2.) Exterior ground dirty (condom, cigarette butts in parking area in front of room). Was there a a few days before cleaned up. 3.) We stayed on the ground floor in a NS room (surrounded by people on the upper floor smoking and people next to us smoking outside the rooms; door not sealed well so we could smell it while in our room). 4.) Our room was on the end next to the open stairs. We heard people dragging their luggage up and down day and night, sounded like an elephant stampede. 5.) Room wasn't cleaned / dusted. Only thing clean was the sheets and bed made. Dust on floor areas and surfaces. Found a hair on the phone, hair in the folded towels (some had old stains), and a hair on the bathtub ledge next to a half-used shampoo bottle. Freezer was thick with ice, barely had room to store our ice packs. Desk chairs fabric stained. Garbage can was dirty with food on the bottom, under the bag. Used coffee bag inside the coffee maker. Toilet seat really loose (maint. fixed the next day so that was fine). Microwave dirty, cover coming off the outside HVAC unit. Room door not sealing well (could see light when closed, smell cig smoke, a couple dead bugs in the corner). Ice machine near us out of order the whole time (still able to get ice from another). 6.) Some of the people hanging around the outside looked shady. 7.) Checked out the pool area even though we didn't use it. Really dirty. Curious why outside pools aren't covered when not in use... Note: We didn't immediately report the room because we were exhausted from a 12 hr drive, we quickly checked in, dropped off our stuff in the room and went to dinner, returning later in the evening. When I called the front desk, she said she would've moved us to another room, however we opted to stay in our room because I had wiped down surfaces with sanitizer wipes and requested a new set of towels, plus we didn't want to move everything... We've stayed in other comparable budget hotels much better and for less $. Because of all the above, we won't be returning and definitely don't recommend it.

Older building but updated & pretty clean Hubby & I needed a spot 2 stay overnight with pool. We read reviews & chose this spot. Pool was locked but they quickly opened when asked. Clean pool area. Things were a bit crazy with the storm on the way. It was busy checking in @‘window’. Beds very firm & good AC! My only concerns are safety related: -threshold change to bathroom is a tripping hazard -tub surface is slick -ask for 1st floor room if you have physical issues, no elevator AV for 2nd floor.
