Great Stay Significantly improved from a year ago. Stayed here in May 2023 and while it was okay at best due to on going renovations... Stayed here in May 2024. The renovation was a massive success. It’s certainly not a five star hotel but then again it’s a $120 a night Hampton Inn located in Vidalia, GA. I was highly impressed with the way the staff went out of their way to be friendly. My only concern and it’s nit picky at best is that they didn’t have grits for breakfast.

Fantastic Stay This hotel is was great in every aspect, service, cleanliness and location, will definitely stay again. We had our Family Reunion in Vadalia. This hoel is right down the street from Walmart, Shoney's and a couple others stores.

It Gets The Job Done Booked through the Hilton App. It would have been nice to know in advance that it was being renovated. I did everything through the App to include checking in. Just like I did with a Hampton Inn in Atlanta the week before. When I got to this hotel in Vidalia I went to the front desk to get keys to avoid having to rely on the App to get into the room. I was told that the hotel is not tied into the App for check in. Although everything else was good to go to include the room that we picked out. It’s not that big of a deal. Just a heads up. This hotel is about as good as you’re going to find in Vidalia or for 30 miles around. The price was more than fair. We literally used for a place to sleep and get breakfast. Our stay was only 12 hours. My biggest complaint was that at breakfast they don’t serve grits. Vidalia is as Southern Country town as it comes and I couldn’t get grits to go with my graveyard biscuits.

Hope you like open air rooms with bugs Supposedly I got a “ newly refurbished room.” I am 6‘,2“ tall 220 pounds. I could barely fit through the opening of the shower door. There was a hole on the left side of the air conditioning unit that was 3 “ x 18”. I stuffed a towel into the hole to fill it as best as I could to prevent more spiders and bugs from entering the room. This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I had to let everyone know what a dump this place is. If you have a choice, stay anywhere else but this hotel.

Clean, friendly staff, sorry renovations We stayed in room 308, the space was clean and smelled really fresh. When we first got to our room, the key wouldn’t work. A young lady from housekeeping was nice enough to go downstairs and get our key activated. The hotel is currently under renovation, but they hide it well. Some parts of our room looked renovated (the fixtures, furniture, and floors, but they need to fire whoever is doing the renovations because: 1. The toilet rocked when you sat on it 2. The shower door would not close, guess the floor was uneven (had to stick a hand towel between the doors)
