Affordable hotel close to the Silver Metro Line This was the cheapest hotel I could find that has a short walk to the metro line. While it was far away from DC, I didn't mind since it's also close to the airport. The hotel has a Walmart beside it to stock up on items and a decent choice of restaurants as well. The hotel room itself had some issues, particularly the thermostat going crazy. It's either too hot or too cold. Also, the hot water tank doesn't fill up quickly. So, I had to take a shower at night while my companion showers in the morning essentially. The breakfast selection was great though, and they're able to hold your luggage if you landed on a morning flight way before check-in time. No need to drag your luggage all the way to DC for luggage storage.

Staff was accommodating but efficiency room lacked amenities. Staff was very friendly and helped when asked. Pool was closed. Be prepared to ask for extra needs. Breakfast was average with powdered eggs, sausage, and pastries. Be sure to get there before 9 because they promptly shut down. Had an efficiency room with fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave which was handy BUT there were no kitchen linens or paper towels, no dishwashing liquid, silverware was caked with old food, and no coffee filters provided if you bring your own coffee. Room was never serviced for 4 nights. You could feel every spring in the sofa bed so be sure to bring it ask for a few comforters/blankets to lay under you. It also squeaked. Bathroom did not provide hand towels or body wash; just 1 tiny hand soap. We got what we paid for as the room was very affordable, but it was lacking a few basics. We were on first floor and they put either a toddler/young child or pet above us and they paced. We heard every step. Plumbing is very loud too. Ask for second floor room if you want a more peaceful stay, and you don’t have too much luggage for the stairs.

Very poorly maintained property with poor staff The door was broken. When I asked for my preferred room, they told me no other rooms were available. Looking around, there were plenty of other rooms available. Very old and outdated. Pillow, blankets, sheets, and curtains all had a smell of being very old and used. This place is comparably cheaper, but not worth saving an extra 50 bucks over the better options nearby.

Old property that needed a lot of updating, cleaning, and fumigating I should start out that this hotel was recently turned into a Wyndham property. I don't know how recently, but it needs to under major changes before I would consider it up to par for that company unless their standards have dropped. It looks to have been a garden apartment in the past. My room was on the ground floor. It had a sofa bed, king bed and kitchen area in addition to the dressing room area with large sink area and separate toilet and shower room. The first thing I noticed were the flies/mosquitos flying around, then the cobwebs between the front door and couch, dressing room, etc. The bed was comfortable and sheets decent. Towels were a bit thread-bare. It wouldn't have been so bad except for the flies/mosquitos which I spent a considerable time trying to kill approx 6-7 with a towel and Kleenex. I didn't want to do any work or sleep until they were gone. This gave me the ick feeling - didn't even want to set foot in the kitchen area. I thought I had killed all, but had another one or two in the morning. Also, it showed a lot of wear and tear. I live about 30 minutes away but was staying there for an early morning conference as were another two colleagues. We all, including my employer who stayed at the nearby Hilton, agreed that this hotel, even though it was very reasonably priced (the main reason it was chosen), will not be used next year for the annual conference. When the price is low, beware!! I thought it was low because it was a little away from the main area of Tysons. I only gave this dump two stars (maybe should be one star) because the staff was nice, bed was OK and they provide a breakfast (which I didn't have time for). Wyndham really needs to reconsider if their name should be on the sign.

Pathetic property Disrespectful staff, unclean rooms, pathetic service. Avoid this property. Find another 1. No resolution from the management to my complaints
