Queen suite is huge! The four points was a lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was extraordinary and well worth the price. Our queen suite was huge-two bathrooms! Except for a snafu with the credit card on check in, it was a great stay! It exceeded expectations from the pictures online. The pool area was not as amazing as the beach but I was glad to have a pool.

Came For the Beach, Got Free Dolphin and Air Shows. Went for a long overdue family vacation (last one was April 2019, pre Covid). Hotel is right off the boardwalk (actually, the adjacent bike path). ALL rooms are oceanfront/facing the ocean; the Atlantic Avenue side of the hotel contains the parking deck, pool, probably the conference area as well. The halls aren't bright, but they are by no means dimly lit, either. There is adequate lighting, but the color scheme (almost like a battleship grey color) may make the corridors appear dimmer than they are. The room wasn't large, but it got the job done. Housekeeping comes every third day, but you can get extra supplies (such as towels) with no problem. Nonetheless, the room was clean when we checked in, which is all that matters. Yes, the balcony is on the smaller side, but was still a nice place to sit in the morning, as well as in the evening after the day's activities. That's where we first saw the dolphins, when we were sitting on the balcony our first night. It was such a soothing sight. As for that airshow, well, it is Virginia Beach, and NAS Oceana is only a few miles away, so were were treated to the sight of F-18s overhead daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Long Weekend Stay We picked this location with its beachfront. Location was great with easy access to the beach. There was no breakfast included with our rate, but there was a discounted breakfast option at Jumping Shrimp for hotel guests. The room was clean and spacious enough. We enjoyed the balcony view of the beach, especially in the evening and first thing in the morning. They are not currently providing daily cleaning service, but we were able to get whatever additional supplies we needed. We had 2 minor issues that they took care of immediately after we brought it to their attention. Parking was available at the hotel and nice to not have to worry about when going to the beach. The rate was a bit higher than we normally pay for hotels, but it wasn’t out of range for other hotels in the area and given it was beachfront mid-summer. Would consider staying here again.

Great Location and Clean There’s a ton of hotels on Atlantic Avenue but if you want one that’s not run down, decently priced and clean, this is the one. It’s was nice to have the bathroom vanity outside the shower area, made it easier for me and my friends to get ready to go out. Location is good but parking is a bit tight if you have a larger SUV.

Small cramped rooms with dimly lit hallways that were stuffy. The best area of the Four Points by Sheraton Virginia Beach is the lobby. The hallways were narrow enough that you could stretch out your arms and touch both walls. The hallways were painted a dark color and dimly lit with little to no a/c cooling and airflow. The room was very cramped and one of the smallest I have stayed in. (After I checked out, I checked the square footage compared to another hotel in the chain; Sheraton at 375 square feet which probably included the balcony verses 400 square feet in the other hotel.) In the room there were two queen beds but probably should have only had one full size bed base on size. There was a small table with a single serve coffee/hot water dispenser and two plastic chairs without enough space to seat two people. An upholstered chair was crammed in between one of the queen beds and the glass wall that led to a tiny balcony with two plastic chairs and a small table. The room did have as small microwave and mini fridge in a console that left about 2 feet clearance from the foot of the two queen beds. The bathroom contained a tub/shower and a toilet, exceedingly small and cramped. The tiny single sink was outside the bathroom. I had to call for housekeeping to fill the soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers because they had not been serviced. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The free garage parking was good but tight on size of parking spots. The hotel was renovated in 2016 but not up to Marriott/Bonvoy standards.
