Clean reasonably priced Typical motel 6 in an older building. Rooms are clean with no amenities inclusive of no-in room coffee. Cars park by rooms so it can be noisy in morning. Had room with two beds and the room was in good shape. Cost was $100 so for no frills value this was a good one night deal. The service at checking as excellant.

Adequate and Clean but A Little Strange The room was clean. There was no odor, even from the AC. The grounds provide a lot of grass for dogs. There is a visible effort by the management to make the most of what they have. That said, the rooms have obviously suffered the problems that druggies bring with them. There are patched depressions in the walls. Furniture is bolted to the wall (in fact, the only thing not bolted to the wall may have been a telephone cable and receiver). The TV sports security features that may be found in a corrections setting including a notice of a removal alarm that alerts the office. Most interestingly, the smoke detector is housed in a wire cage (possibly to prevent crackheads from disabling it or to keep meth heads from disassembling it?). Also, while the parking is ample it was filled with a lot of new, low-entry vehicles used by those in unlicensed pharmaceutical sales taking advantage of easy-access, long term rental rates. The overhead fluorescent lighting is some of the most depressing and migraine-inducing I have ever seen. The green color on the wall is a color-blind attempt at 70s accent decor. A small part of the wooden floor was missing. The sound isolation is also not very good. The room did, however, provide materials for a DIY light diffuser (see photos), a necessity for those who may be prone to migraines. All in all, it was clean and blissfully average, but the smoke detector in the wire cage gave me some concern about the regular clientele that necessitated such a move.

$60 CASH cleaning deposit is a SCAM! Warning! This Motel 6 charges a $60 CASH deposit, so you can't dispute it as you can with a credit card. They wanted to charge us $20 for a "stained" towel that wasn't stained in any way and could be cleaned just fine with a regular washing. $20 was also far more than the cost of the towel! Most Motel 6 hotels will charge your credit card for damage, which is the honest way to do it. This is just a way to scam more money out of guests! We will not be returning, even though the manager did finally give us the $20--only after I protested that there was no good reason for the charge.

Basic motel I should have read the fine print about Motel 6 pet policy - cash $60 deposit for 2 dogs. The staff person did not know the area, so could not direct me to an ATM. Otherwise a basic Motel 6 experience. No frills. Clean. A little worn. Quiet.
