Great stay at Hilton Kohala Suites Good sized 2BR with nice appointments and kitchen supply. The Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance provide excellent service and are responsive. We have used the HGV shuttle to go all over the Waikoloa Resort and have really enjoyed visiting Hawi, Waimea, Kailua Kona from this location. It is close to several beautiful beaches and the location has really worked out for us. We stayed in building 19 and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful resort, well looked after. Our two bedroom unit had everything we needed and was beautiful. Any time we needed help or something extra, the staff was responsive and friendly. The parking was right out front. The beds were comfy and outside noise did not bother us indoors. The rooms had blackout curtains for those who slept later. The lanai was a good size with table and chairs plus lovely chairs for lounging. Would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion vacation This is our second time to Kohala Suites with the whole family and this time we totaled 11. We had three units and everyone was comfortable with the large two bedroom apartments. Parking was very easy and having ground floor units made it easy to visit out on the lanais. Lots of shops, restaurants and beaches close by.

Mainlanders not welcome This hotel was horrible. Under construction. Zero help from staff. Extremely rude staff. Bell guy actually told us to be nicer about asking for directions. Took us twenty minutes to find our room and ask four different people for directions. Bars close at 5pm. Elevators go to no where. This was my honeymoon and we are devastated with the service. Don’t ever come here. You will be horribly treated like a “mainlander”.

perfect week on the Big Island We had a wonderful week at the Hilton Kohala Suites. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We cooked 2 night in our unit and had everything we needed to cook our meal. We spent a lot of time on our Lanai which had the most beautiful sunsets over the golf course view. We even saw 5 Nene birds outside our door one morning and several mongooses running around. The grounds are spotless and beautifully landscaped. We drove to the nearby beach and spent several days there but we also spent a day at the pool which also was very nice. Check in was easy, the beds were comfortable, parking was free and easy to get a spot close to our unit. I literally have no complaints about this place and we had a wonderful, relaxing week. I would highly recommend to my family and friends and hope to return someday.
