Nice location - shame about the rest The drive past the golf club to the hotel grounds is certainly impressive and there is plenty of parking space if you go beyond the wooden bridge to the island. Our room on the island was large with bath and separate shower and a decent sized bed and we weren't unduly disturbed by the various weekday weddings being held there. Having to pay on arrival, with no facility to charge to the room, is unusual and a bit of a pain when it comes to paying separately each time for dinner and incidentals. There was no soap or shampoo in the room on arrival, and the shower gel dispenser was two-thirds empty which we drew to the attention of the receptionist. She gave us a small postage stamp sized sliver of soap and a small shampoo bottle and made a note to inform housekeeping about the shower gel - nothing happened. Breakfast was disappointing with uninspiring fruit salad, hot water jugs dispensing lukewarm water for tea, the distinctly warm 'hot' dishes in another room with the toast dispenser (one guest even had a dog in there). The dinner menus had a limited range of options and were generally overpriced, the only beer on tap was Boddingtons or Camden IPA, and it took a few moments to get used to the abundance of tattoos being displayed by the waiting staff.

Wonderful break away Beautiful location, wonderful staff! Spa facilities were great, treatments completed by Amy were just wonderful! What a lovely person she is! Great food and staff were honestly all wonderful!

A Truly Wonderful Spa Experience! I visited the spa on 14th September 2025 with my two daughters, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming, and every member of staff made us feel completely at ease. A special mention must go to Mo, our hostess, who was simply amazing. She greeted us with such warmth and professionalism, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness added a personal touch that made the day feel extra special. We each had a facial, and the three ladies who carried them out were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, gentle, and incredibly skilled. My daughters and I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and glowing!. Thank you to the entire team for making our spa day so memorable. We’ll definitely be returning—and recommending you to friends and family!

An unforgettable experience We recently got married at Waterton Park Hotel and had the most amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed for a full week after the wedding, and every single day was just as special as the wedding itself. The whole team went above and beyond to make not only our big day, but the entire stay, truly unforgettable. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt completely looked after throughout. A special thank you to Olivia, our wedding coordinator, who made the planning and day itself stress-free and seamless; Sophie at reception, for her warm welcome and support; Cat in the spa, who was wonderful; and Issy, the masseuse, who gave the most relaxing treatments. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or better team. Thank you for making such a special time in our lives even more magical.
