Surprisingly quiet When I pulled in, I was kind of put off by the fact that this hotel is at the location of the Iowa 80 Truck Stop. I was expecting lots of noise. Though I could hear some, the room was actually pleasingly quiet. The beds were comfy and I got a good night's sleep. The room was clean and relatively modern looking. However the shower head was surprisingly old and functioned oddly as it was significantly blocked due to calcium buildup. This seemed very counter intuitive given the exceptional cleanliness of the bathroom. Breakfast was a bit simple but at least they had one. It was basically egg sandwiches you could microwave. Worked for me but my son didn't care for it much.

A traveler's WORST nightmare!!! Run away from this hotel as fast as you can!!! Management will provide untrue information to your credit card company! The room and hotel were filthy...moldy carpet-bad odor-non functioning ac-dirty sheets & bedding and crunchy unwashed towels- fluid of unknown origin left to dry hard on headboard...No water pressure and broken windows/screens. The ice machine was broken on our floor so we had to go to the 1st floor. When the motion-light came on, a mouse ran from the room across the hall and under another door. ALSO___CHECK YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR YOUR ROOM KEYS...management will say you did this and therefore agreed to pay your credit card bill -this could not be further from the truth. They will repeatedly bill your credit card even if you left the location within a half hour of "checkin" due to the unsafe and filthy conditions. How this still bears a Comfort Inn name I have no idea. WORST hotel I've ever experienced. WORST management I've ever encountered.

Road trip My complaint is advertised on website as having a pool. Spouse was in pool and I went to front desk and asked to have it turned on. I was told it was out of order. I paid for a hotel with a pool and was very disappointed.

Do NOT stay here! My daughter's dance team stayed here and I almost drove, from Chicago, to this disastrous place, to save them! The team left ASAP and will be filing a complaint. Stains on everything, bugs in the beds, no water pressure and a smell that would make you gag! I will post pictures of the bedspreads, bed and towels for your viewing....there is no need for me to say more.

The good and the bad Good; the clerk was nice at check-in, bed was clean and comfortable, tub and sink clean. No noise issues Bad: Musty odor in the halls and room. Floors not clean. Tray that had cups and ice bucket on it very dirty. Average breakfast choices. Not worth the money we had to pay at all.
