No whine in wine country This is the second or third visit to the Holiday Inn Express in Walla Walla, and won't be the last. We loved the bed, pillows, pool/jaccuzi, quiet room, and staff. Unfortunately, we missed the breakfast, but it smelled good. The fitness room was nice, however, the machines could stand some maintenance.

Understaffed breakfast. Standard Holiday Inn Express experience. It was comfortable and served our needs. Unfortunately, the breakfast was staffed by only one person and the hotel was full. We had to wait on breakfast items and the coffee was often out. The Server worked very hard, but couldn’t keep up.

For the most part it was good. Really nice breakfast, except for Sunday. Orange juice was watered down, no cinnamon rolls (we loved the warm rolls), no decaf coffee when we got there, regular coffee was pretty strong. Place another grab bar in the tub area, the one that is there is too hard to get at for elderly folks.

Walla Walla Wine Country, why did it take so long to visit?!! Feather pillows! Oh joy, oh joy! Coupled with a spotless, well lit and well appointed room, what more could one ask for! We opted for a guided wine tasting tour and had a great time with the Walla Walla Holiday Inn Express as our pleasant and friendly home away from home.

Breakfast needs work The hotel room was very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I did not give five stars because the breakfast both mornings was cold. The first morning the eggs were cold and crusty. Every hot dish was cold. The second morning we got down there before the official opening of 6:30. Breakfast was already sitting in the warming trays but already Luke warm. It appears the warming trays have no warming elements beneath them. So when the breakfast gets put into the metal trays it doesn’t stay warm very long. The health department would not pass you with this situation.
