Rundown mess Stayed two nights. Rundown and in need of major renovations. While there wasn’t grime per say in the room, the room felt dirty with all the old furnishings and bedding. The area where you are supposed to be able to buy beverages and snacks was 90% empty. Not even one bottle of water to be had or offered on a 95 degree day. The very noisy room ac needs to run constantly to keep the room comfortable and the bathroom sink took hours to drain. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.

Rudest front desk lady ever!! We stayed over this past weekend, Friday to Sunday. I have tried without any success to find out who the manager of this hotel is so I could personally talk to him/her. There is a woman at the front desk who is extremely rude. At checkin, there was a very pleasant younger girl, and during our stay, a very accommodating man. But the woman there is sadly mistaken if she believes people traveling and PAYING for a service like to be treated in the manner she treats them!! I hate to rank this hotel so low, because of the very nice people who work there, but I cannot recommend with this other woman there.

WERE WE SURPRISED We stayed here a decade ago. It was horrible. There was no reason to return...ever. But hot summer days with no air conditioning and no electricity will make you think twice about anything so it was with great trepidation that we booked another night at this hotel. BOY, WERE WE SURPRISED! Some very smart and hard working people bought this place. Gone are the mattresses that felt like we were sleeping on a bag of rocks. In their place new mattresses, linens, towels, etc.. The place has been spruced up and cleaned up. New everything. We had a VERY early 5a wake-up but waiting for us when we went to check out was a breakfast bag. Nice people all the way around. We will be back!

Great place for overnight stop Great location off the highway, extremely convenient location to stop for the night. Basic room and amenities, but clean and comfy with a decent breakfast for under $100 - It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and both stops were good. James, at check-in, could not have been nicer - he seemed authenticly friendly too. Only downside is the closest gas station is a few miles down a side road but that’s an FYI - certainly not the hotel’s fault.
