Room smelt like Body Oder! So there was no rooms in Astoria we had to head to Warren. I phoned and they had 2 ada rooms left. We had to book it as there was nothing left to book in the area. Our room was awful and it smelled! We had to open the windows in the room! We were stuck and I was so angry! We had no remote in the room for the TV so we could unwind after a long trip and checking out the sites. I called the front desk, the associate came up and brought me an LG remote? This was a Samsung tv she should have known that.. needless to say no tv! And the associate didn’t even offer a discount either. As, a discount was warranted for sure. I also talked to the associate this morning about the room and the boss order smell and the tv remotes. She asked me well didn’t you talk to the front desk about moving? There were only 2 Ada rooms left on property to even book as what we were told when we booked the room. Anyway again no discount t was offered at all. Where is the customer service with these front desk associates today. Management should encourage and empower them to make necessary adjustments for guests staying at their hotel. I do not recommend this property.

Overpriced dirty motel with no amenities +50$ damage fee They openly advertise things like an indoor pool, steam room, and a hot tub along with complementary breakfast. They had none of that, I had over paid for a motel six. They charged me an extra fifty dollar fee just cause they can. They informed us they had been lacking staff and wouldn't be offering room service when we checked in. The floor was decorated with multi colored stains and a strip of duct tape to hold the carpet down. Building had an old smell. Very Dangerous sharp blind Corner pulling into the parking lot. We had no silverware, we went to the front office for bowls ,and all they gave us was two red solo cups for our soup. I was stuck here for three boring nights. I had packed swimsuits for us and we just wasted space and got our hopes up. Going to the coast the mandatory utilities are an indoor pool and complementary breakfast. I knew this was a rough start for our trip. It was disappointing and had to make the most out of it. I will avoid any Shilo inns after this experience I feel like I got scammed. They're falsely advertising amenities that they have had shut down since Covid. It's been three years since. Only one guy was working on the pool room I hardly seen him do anything the one day he was working. The pool was half full of stagnant water. The "fitness room" was just a broken treadmill. It was 530$ to stay here for three nights with no services or any amenities. It was boring and disappointing. The bed was comfortable, the couch smelt like urine. They was brown stains inside the toilet where they didn't scrub and the whole place was really empty. It felt like I was helping them more then they had helped me. I entirely regret picking Shilo at warrenton. We almost got t boned from a car doing 60mph trying to leave the parking lot and a day later there was a wreck on that road. I'd sum this hotel up with these words Over priced False advertisement And Dirty This hotel didn't ruin my trip but it played a huge role in making my vacation miserable. The pool really bothers me, they need to advertise that it's out of order. I know it's my fault for not calling and usually we do just to check but I was too excited to book and the website had over glorified this place. Also Covid was three years ago they need to not use that as an excuse for the complementary breakfast. The restaurant that had been advertised in Expedia was out of business so we walked to natural grocers for microwaveable food and snacks. They're lacking money and business (for a good reason) I dont enjoy complaining but this was a terrible hotel I wouldn't be surprised if this place went out of business this year. Things I did enjoy was the wetlands view, was nice .I appreciate the grey gloomy weather (not sarcasm) I was happy about that, and that's pretty much it for positive things to say.

If I could rate this place in the negative I would The only reason I gave this hotel a one star is because you can't go lower. We travel all the time and I would say this was top 10 worst experiences we've had. Upon check in we were told of all of the amenities they didn't have..no coffee in the lobby,no complimentary breakfast, the restaurant on property was closed (apparently permanently) ,jacuzzi, gym, and steam room closed.Very old dingy, smelled like massive amounts of chlorine. The elevator was super sketchy, the room was old ,smelled like grandma's old laundry, blood( hopefully chocolate stains on comforter. We were tired and so wished we had just kept driving, but it was late and we had stayed at Shilo inn at the Dalles and were pleased so we figured at least we knew what to expect. We did ask for a late check out. And all was good. Next day we recieve a $350 charge for " incidentals" My husband contacted the Manager on duty (Tristan")and we were told we "smoked" marijuana in our room and they had pictures to prove it. We are on vacation weed is legal ,we did have a joint in our possession no denial there. However my husband and I don't even smoke in our own home. Every time we needed a smoke break it was taken OUTSIDE !! They should have those times on camera. Needless to say this place was an absolute dive and this was a money grab for a smell ,not anything that was ever lit or consumed inside this building. SIDE NOTE the door we used downstairs from our room we tried to extra cautious to smells and noise due to the fact it appeared there was an elderly woman living there. We are the most respectful ,clean, kind travelers. We left our towels in the bathtub (shower curtain falls off the rod due to all the rings being broken) .I put our trash in the baskets, picked up popcorn that was left on the floor all to make it easier on our clean up crew. We are a pack it in pack it out family and last but not least we jumped a gentleman's car on our way out. Needless to say NEVER again will we be staying at a Shilo Inn. The rest of our vacation was excellent B.W. plus,Comfort Suites and VRBO for the win.Happy travels all.

Worst place ever Came to stay here for our sons Birthday. No breakfast at all. No pool room open at all. Side of the building is falling down on end entrance. The beds are hard as a rock. The only good thing was the nice lady at the desk. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any kind of stay.
