Best hidden Jem in town! Denise the front desk agent is simply the best!!! Perfect 10!! The hotel is clean and taken care of, if your looking for a safe, easy going hotel for yourself or your family, you found it, the only thing, I wish the hotel had, is a hot tub with an indoor/ outdoor pool, in the winter you can't use the pool, however I would recommend this hotel anytime!

Good location and customer service But.. Hotel is centrally located and was clean. Gym was satisfactory. Breakfast was good. Customer service was pretty good. Two people stood out the most (Denis and Jennifer). Both were very warm and accommodating. When I first entered ny room there was a bottle of disinfectant and rag that most likely the cleaning crew left. I assumed someone would remove it the next day when cleaning but to my dismay it remained. I put it in front of the housekeeping door for thier use and not mine. My biggest complaint was the lack of cleaning in my shower. The bed linen was changed and the bed made up each day. But no one thought to clean the shower. The entire 4 night stay there was a rather long piece of hair curled up In the back corner. Considering my hair is cropped short a d a different texture it was not mine. I took a picture for proof. If it were not for this I would have given a 4 star.

Bed bugs! On the second night of a planned 3-night stay I was bitten by bed bugs. I was moved to an alternate room for my third night and although it was supposedly a "suite" the carpets were disgustingly stained, the toilet ran constantly and it just felt grimy due to my experience in the prior room. Plus the AC unit was so loud it was hard to sleep (which had also been an issue in the other room). Upon checking out I confirmed there would be no charge for the stay and asked for a manager to call me. I was assured my record would be given to management right away and they would call. I have heard nothing. Also, as of now there has been no credit to the air miles I used to pay for the room. I should not have to spend my time trouble shooting the issue when it resulted from the hotel's negligence. After I posted my review on the hotel website I noticed a few other posts by people who had the same experience at this hotel and the response from management denied they had bed bugs. In my case both i and the front desk clerk who came to my room saw and took pics of the bed bugs. Interestingly, when I mentioned my experience to a friend she too had been bitten by bed bugs at a different Holiday Inn Express. This suggests it is a known issue but corporate is ignoring it.

Great experience at the hotel in Warrenton, VA The staff was pleasant and very helpful, especially the check in hostess, Denise, made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed towels & toothbrush. She has a perfect personality for that position. Everyone said the same thing.

As a hotel chain, IHG needs to learn what "reservation", "confirmation", and "service" mean. I booked 3 nights for 4/24-4/26 on 4/16/24 and received a confirmation by email. On 4/21/24, 5 days later, I received another confirmation detailing my 3 nights stay. on 4/22/24 I received a call from the hotel saying they were overbooked and my reservation was cancelled - 2 days before my stay - 6 days after my reservation was made. Why did it take the hotel 6 days to notify me that my "reservation" was no good - even after receiving 2 "confirmations"? Seems to me IHG doesn't understand these words. There are other similar reviews here. I will never use IHG again. This practice is totally unacceptable for a hotel.
