Lea Marston Rip-Off Hotel On arrival we were given our room key and told its just down there. After walking with our Cases which felt like miles, we still couldn't find our room, so I returned to the main desk and said I give up where's our room. They then changed our room number to the ground floor. Breakfast was OK if you like cold plates and cold sloppy fried eggs. A hotel of this size, could afford a plate warmer. I then went to charge my Hybrid car the cost of which was astronomical, they wanted £30 all night or £10 per hour. I thought this must be some kind of quick charger so I paid my £10. When we came to use the car, I find that there had only put in equivalent to 5 miles, so I had paid £2 per mile, just a total rip-off.

Staff are fantastic! I've stayed here quite a few times. The staff as always are great and very accommodating. The TV signal in the room is poor to say the least. It's a basic expectation. To not be able to watch terrestrial TV? Food wise I had the basic burger. Basically pub food and I've eaten better in a pub. Not what I'd expect for the price.

Afternoon Tea We booked for afternoon tea for a friends birthday. On arrival we were offered tea or coffee and our afternoon tea was brought to us. The food was fine, nothing wrong with it at all but nothing special either considering the surroundings. The staff then left us to it - literally! We were not offered a refill of tea and didn’t see a member of staff until we left through reception. We were hoping to take the remaining scones and cake away with us (as we had done at other venues previously) but this was clearly not an option as there was no sign of anyone to ask. Overall it was ok but if I wanted something for a birthday or anniversary I wouldn’t return.
