Terrible, would not recommend Would not recommend. I am a Titanium Elite member with Marriott which is one of their highest tiers of membership and this trip makes me rethink the entire value of investing in the program. Initially, the stay started off well but quickly took a turn. I arrived to the room to find hair and candy shoved into the corners of the bed. I called the front desk and was able to moved to a different room only to be greeted with a new room riddled with remnants I have a previous guest in the bed, in the shower, on the phone, and on the floor. When walking into the room I found the backing of an ear ring, then there was an eyelash placed on the room phone, there was hair inside of one of the beds, and hair inside of the shower. I am convinced that the housekeeping staff does not clean the rooms and the guarantee of experiencing a superior clean room in the mist of COVID-19 is not executed. If you are saying in the DC area rethink this hotel or prepare to bring your own cleaning supplies.

Average Marriott Spent a week with my husband and our our teenage daughter. This is a newer hotel with clean, modern, average sized room and a very small bathroom. Everything worked in the room and the stay was comfortable but there’s nothing special to speak of. I am a Platinum member& and we had no problem accessing the M Club lounge until the last day of our stay. We were stopped at the entrance and were told to go to the front desk to pay for the extra person. I am a long time SPG and now Marriott member and I am fully aware of the “written” policy of access for up 2 person/room. I can also understand the policy is there to prevent abuse. But I have not run into any hotel that’s not flexible about this, especially when the “extra person” is a child. I would have shrugged off the incident if we were told in a courteous, pleasant manner, but that wasn’t the case. This incident completely ruined our experience. We visit Georgetown often and this Marriott is now the one hotel I avoid.

Meh For a Marriott that charged $60 per night for parking, it was okay. It was pretty close to all the monuments, but really was a farther walk than ine might want to take . . .especially in the cold. First the good: the room was quiet and comfortable. The shower was equipped with a soap and shampoo dispenser and rhe staff was nice. Bad: they didn't empty my trash during my stay. I had a coffee pot, but they took the coffee our of my room. The reataurant was closed (maybe a COVID thing), but i bought some $5 cookies from the lobby. Overall, it was a decent hotel, but I guess my expectations were higher based on other Marriott stays. I might stay here again, but it wouldn't be first choice.
