One of the worst places I have ever stayed! Good location and it was cheapest option around BUT hotel has a big issue with deposits they charged me a $150 deposit and still didn't return it after two weeks. So my stay there for 2 night cost $360!!! And they don`t answer to my messages and letters. In addition the hotel is quite old and dirty, unfriendly management, my room was very tiny and dark.

Very average Overall, I find this an overpriced hotel for the price it charges (not so clean, shabby furniture, etc). But over-pricing is a more general DC problem. The real issue I had was the wifi. One of the two nights I have stayed, the wifi was slow and very intermittent. This is unacceptable for an hotel charging these rates.

Their interest will not be your interest if your white except reverse racism & except to be ripped off Totally horrific the guy has an attitude because I’ve been waiting in the lobby for over 45 minutes on phone then yells at me and tell me that the checkout time is 11 AM read totally ridiculous, these people are not about white people. They have a lot of reverse racism going on there Afghan Ethiopian owner is not somebody that’s going to be concerned about your needs. Do yourself a favor pay at bit more stay only with recognized companies after present card Bank of America had loads of suspicious transactions for all I know my card is being used overseas not to mention 3 transactions for same room same night As someone who gets paid to review hotels as close to Mr Walker founder of Priceline my recommendations are this be totally removed from all advertised sites immediately.

Quirky Quirky is the appropriate word for this old hotel. In a great area of the city with many very good restaurants and the Dupont Circle metro station within an easy walk. Definitely an old hotel. Rooms are small but very clean. Interesting old elevator that harks back to another Era. Price is right compared to other hotels in the area. Great for one or two nights if you're in town for a quick visit. Two complaints. There is not enough light in the room and the electrical outlets are an experiment in patience. Also, previous posted complaints about the lack of hot water are valid. I had enough hot water at first, but none in the last 24 hours. The hotel really needs to address both of these issues. Definitely bring an extension cord. I suppose I we would have give a higher rating if these two issues were addressed.
