Comfortable and close to a lot We got a corner room and it was worth it for the spaciousness and comfort. It was quiet and clean and right next to the metro center station. Perfect! We also got a very warm welcome. There is a Starbucks on site. Restaurant is closed. Hard to find a decent breakfast place around is only complaint.

convenient and good price This was a perfect location for a touristy trip to DC. Right next to metro. If you forget something can shop at Macy's across the street. Can walk to mall, restaurants, shopping. Valet parking expensive ($60) but nearby parking garage you can park at (20). Nice staff. We arrived after midnight with no problem. Rooms clean and convenient. Not big. Kids liked the pool. Starbucks in lobby. Only problem, restaurant still seems not to be open and no bar. But you can walk across street for bar.

Wonderful Experience I can’t say enough about the customer service here. Kelly at the front desk went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She should be the standard for every employee everywhere to live up to. The location was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable. All the employees we encountered were friendly and genuinely concerned with making our stay a great experience. It truly was. Nice to see such commitment to excellence, especially during these times.

Awesome location for quick access to/from DCA Boyfriend and I was in DC for 24 hours. Debated on a newer Marriott property, but ended up spending a little more money to stay at this older hotel because the location is ideal for a quick visit flying in and out of DCA (Reagan National). Metro Center station is literally at the corner. We were able to get from hotel front entrance to airport for check-in (using blue line) in just 35 minutes on a Monday at 4pm. And it's a $2.35-$2.65 fare one-way (depending on time of day), cheapest and easiest way to get in town. Please note that currently there is no restaurant available on property and their pool is not open. The room is very basic and slightly dated. I didn't even ask about housekeeping since we only stayed 1 night. I appreciated the tiny pack of sanitizing wipes they provided in the room (1st property I have stayed since July that provided it). I brought a giant pack to wipe things down in room, but I took this tiny pack with me when we went out. We were given early check in (before noon) and late check out (4pm), so we could leave our items in room. It seems like they are not doing luggage hold currently. Please call ahead and check if they have changed policy if luggage hold is a necessity (since early check-in/late check-out aren't guaranteed). Also, due to recent events, downtown DC looks very "zombieland" like - half the buildings and shops have boarded up their glass windows & doors, this hotel included. Not many people around; overall it was quite sad and depressive looking, so be mentally prepared (but great for social distancing). Not all restaurants are opened, but plenty are. Old Ebbitt Grill is a short walk away - I did their seafood platter during happy hours (it has become my DC tradition). We also walked to Chinatown for dinner one night after National Portrait Gallery. Overall it was a very practical stay. Staffs were nice. Otherwise keep your expectations in check (especially for those who like perks such as free breakfast) during current COVID environment.

Perfectly located near everything... Great location. Decent price. Walking distance to the Smithsonian museums, the Mall, the White House, shopping, great restaurants and more. If you use the Marriott app you can safely stay with contactless service.
