Nice stay We ended up here when we couldn’t get a wheelchair accessible room elsewhere in the area. We were surprised to find such a neat place. The room was large and accommodating our needs for a wheelchair and an accessible bathroom. There were enough outlets for our devices. All was clean and comfortable. The only things I found somewhat cumbersome was the towel bar under the sink and the sink. The towel bar was in the way of one trying to get the wheelchair close to the sink. The sink was a modern bowl sitting on the sink area which made one having to reach higher to wash hands or brush their teeth. The on sight restaurants had good food and plenty of choices. The idea of walking around the area was very inviting. I could see spending more time here.

Resort is past it’s prime. Boy, this place is really on the decline! Visited 10 years ago and it doesn’t seem like they have changed a thing. Old carpet and decor, rooms kind of dingy. Quality of TV’s not too good. Thin walls and noise from room above. Staff was very nice. Golf course was fun but in average condition. This place needs a facelift. They charge a $30 resort fee, but I am still trying to figure out why. Disappointing.

Never again, for so many reasons I thought I had booked a premier room, the manner in which it was described, but instead entered a dirty tired space that rarely, if ever, has been properly cleaned. Room was not ready at check in but not troubled by that (until later). Next day , key did not work which I found out after a long walk to reception, that the checkin receptionist only coded it for one night (when I was charged for 2, strange I thought. Then, room not serviced, which I was told by the same person that it was my fault for not requesting it. Where in the world does that happen, or if it does, there should be a sign in the room or a card on the door to instruct it? The remedy was “I’ll inform the manager”, who never materialised, although did send an automated cut-and-paste email without any personal response. Really disappointed with that lack of interest. And was told that cleaning staff had all gone, when the same time the day before, I was told the room was not “ready”! Restaurant was slow and cold, and mediocre at best. This place sails on its location, which is fabulous, but its lobby sign of promising to immediately fix any service deficit is not sincerely interpreted. When I pointed that out to a morning receptionist, I was told she was unaware of it! On check out, I was refunded the resort fee , but not until I described this miserable stay to this really nice lady. Action should have come way before this. It’s so simple to fix poor outcomes as they occur, not pay lip service to guests who expect only that: to be treated with respect and receive what is paid for Really really bad job, Mt Hood. You do no justice for the majesty from which you take your name

Best Place To Stay On The Mountain My favorite place to stay on the mountain. A hidden gem for people wanting to get away from the city but don't want to drive too far
