Business & pleasure visit Booked the hotel based on a referral and glad I did. The hotel is close to everything with a comfortable bed and great workspace. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful in directing you to the good local restaurants any happy to help with any needs you might have. Housekeeping was available if needed and checked every day if we needed towels or supplies. The hotel has great water views, comfortable and clean rooms and accommodating staff. I stay at over 100 hotels a year and Riverside hotel is one of my best stays this year and highly recommended.

Wonderful Hotel Overlooking the River Riverside Hotel was an excellent stay for a long weekend. Our second floor room overlooked the Connecticut River. The balcony was covered and included 2 chairs and a small table, which made relaxing outside a pleasure. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Beautiful hardwood floors, 2 chairs, a desk and rolling chair provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is plenty of parking. All staff members we encountered were kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Riverside Hotel is conveniently located for visiting Brattleboro, VT or Keene, NH.

This is a gem not to be overlooked. Have stayed at Riverside on four occasions and can't say enough about this gem. From the spaciousness of the rooms to the impeccable cleanliness to the special accommodating staff to a very reasonable rate in today's world. I have to add that my wife and I have traveled extensively and have to admit that the Riverside is at the top of our list for all the above mentioned reasons.

A Delightful Stay Spent three nights at this hotel and we had a great experience. We found the location to be both relaxing and convenient. Located on the Connecticut River, the view from our balcony was lovely—a great place to sit both morning and evening. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean, with a king bed with a sleep number mattress, good pillows and nice linens. I appreciated that the floor was a nice surface with area rugs rather than the usual fully carpeted floors of most hotels. Every member of the hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. Though there is currently no breakfast facility, there was a good supply of coffee for several hours each morning, as well as bottled water. We like to explore around the area on both the New Hampshire and Vermont sides of the river and this hotel’s location was perfectly located for that. It was such a positive experience that we hope to return this fall.

Great Hotel just outside Brattleboro This was a great hotel, I was pleasantly pleased. The rooms are spacious and c omfortable, and the hotel staff very accommodating and paid attention to your room requests. The price is very competitive and better than some nearby alternatives in Brattleboro. It may be a bit tricky to find your first time, although not that bad at all, but probably better to arrive in daylight the first time, as it's around back of some stores.
