Nice location but quirky “old hotel” traits. This doesn’t seem like an older hotel but certainly has some non-modern annoyances. We were in a suite and the air conditioner was extremely loud. Since it was really hot. It ran most of the night. The shower had no more pressure than a gardening water can. This is not an exaggeration… it took about 7 minutes for the hot water to arrive at the shower.

Great return to HGI First time in many years since we have stayed. King room was in great shape, A/C working great and despite a large wedding downstairs, the room was quiet and peaceful. Fridge/microwave in room is a plus and great water pressure in the shower. This property is less than 2 minutes to Jordan Creek and close to everything. Didn't have the breakfast but was told it is pretty good. Room was clean and we had no issues to speak of. We will be back for sure.

Decent hotel, needs some details finished Was in town with the family just overnight for a graduation. Appeared to be a nice part of DM and had some good reviews on TA, so booked it via the Hilton website using my Hilton account. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly front desk staff which was nice. The hotel appears to have been remodeled/refreshed recently and I think a good job as done. As some other reviews have stated, it looks like some fit and finish things just didn't get done though. Like no one ever followed up on a punch list for the contractor. The room (Room 300) was clean and modern. No complaints there. We did notice pretty quickly a couple things that were not finished though. I've attached some pictures of them. One was a wide open electrical junction box up on a wall in the main bedroom. Wires could be seen. The other was on the coffee bar backsplash where it looked like pencil scribblings from a contractor from installing something had been left. Measurements, etc. While these didn't detract from our stay, it still was disappointing for a Hilton experience. We used the pool, which was clean but the loud sometimes unattended, under 14 group of baseball boys were annoying. Running around, diving into the hot tub, etc. The rules are not really enforced I guess? We were not able to get into the pool with our digital key, it kept unlocking the outside door that was nearby, so obviously something wasn't setup right. Front desk got us a physical key card, and mentioned it was a known problem. Overall it was an OK value for price and was clean and comfortable, the nice staff helped, it just needs some final fit and finish. Details Hilton, it's in the details, follow up!

Wifi Highly Unreliable! It's 2024, and hotel wifi should be as reliable as electricity or water being functional. I had very important work to complete during my stay, and connectivity was in and out constantly. The front desk staff clearly had to deal with this constantly, and just gave up and gave me the employee password, which worked great! I'm confident this has something to do with Hilton insisting on having a "free" option, and a "high speed" option for $5/night. The amount of hell they put their guests through to maintain this 2-tiered profit center option is absurd. This is the 2nd time I've been through this, and I'm not going to stay at Hiltons in the future owing to this. It's absurd, and an offensive way to treat one's customers.

Great breakfast We stayed in a king bed accessible room with a roll in shower. There was no seat in shower, despite ADA rules that specify an attached seat should be there. They did bring a portable shower chair. The room was spacious and the bed was good. We enjoyed the bar on the first floor and got a good recommendation for dinner from friendly bartender. It was quiet with no road noise or noise within the hotel. There are no USB ports in the rooms, so bring your own wall charger. We have spent the last 8 weeks in mostly Hilton family hotels (gold member) and the breakfast they offer here is definitely a step above all others. Fresh pineapple was juicy and delicious; other fresh fruits also very good. Thick cut French toast with powdered sugar was prepared at kitchen open to serving line. Bacon was more tasty and had been cooked exactly right. Many other breakfast options. Afternoon free cookies were also a treat.
