Funky Smelling Room Hotel staff is friendly and the hotel looks nice. However, our room smells funky. Room smells like feet! Staff, again was friendly but offered nothing. Not looking for anything free, just looking for a value of what we paid for. Very unfortunate, but I guess it is what it is.

I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION My family and I stayed over Labor day weekend- one night to attend a family wedding. We took one of the most expensive rooms- a suite- because we were 4 in a room and all the other rooms had been taken by the bridal party and other travelers. When we arrived the elevator was out our entire stay. We had to walk up and down the stairs in our dresses and high heels. Although we took a suite and the hotel was aware how many people were staying in the room there were pillows, blankets and towels for only 2 people. They brought up more when we called the hotel desk. This was just not what we expected when taking an expensive room. The fact it was Labor Day weekend is no excuse. They appear to have been short staffed because I tried to speak to a manager and none were around. I was told to call back to see if they would make an accommodation on the room rate. I called the managers several times and there isn't even an answering machine. They simply never pick up. I wrote several emails to Holiday Inn Corporate and also received no response. The hotel itself is clean enough. The suite is decent enough if they stock it properly. But there is a lack of help and if you encounter a situation as I did you won't get satisfaction. I think this has soured me on Holiday Inn.

Hotel plays music in the hallways all night long! We ended up here for one night because there was literally nothing else within a reasonable price range that wasn't super sketchy/crawling in bedbugs and black mold. The one night cost us $330. We weren't looking for much other than a clean room, a TV, and a comfortable bed since we were going to be at a wedding and not actually in the room for very long. After arriving back from the wedding, we were surprised to hear music still playing through speakers throughout the hallway on our floor in the early hours of the morning. I went down to the front desk to complain that it was hard to sleep when the music was audible from our room and the woman I spoke with said there was nothing she could do and apologized. Why is it necessary to play music at 3am in the hallway of a hotel where your sleeping guests can hear it? And why can't you turn it off?

You got my money three times Gave this hotel 3 times to make right. With not many choices to stay at. While visiting someone in the hospital and not wanting to pay more then $300 I don't even want to pay $240 a night!! We stayed here as it was really late one night and hated that they only had one room / suite left for $240 I was told to go outside and find my HIG number by just downloading the app 30 mins later I finally got somewhere. I just don't understand why the hotel wasn't able to look up with my phone number. Bed was clean and comfortable but that night it was still cold out and the heat/ac didn't work inside the bedroom only in the living room side. Bathroom floor wasn't cleaned at all Shower didn't work as the knob just keeps going in circles so cold shower it was. No extra K-pods or cups for coffee I had emailed about this stay and only received they would look into it. A month later I have to stay in town again thought I would try and book ahead of time for a better well prepared room. Again beds are cleaned but that's where it ends. No wrapped cups for coffee only one pack of sugar/stir Coffee rings on night stands and sticky on counters, bathroom floor wasn't cleaned or mirror TP left in toilet Hair and gross towels hung up as if it was a fresh towel ( here's a picture) I understand hair in towels but I would think as your hang them up your would see long ass black hair. Again spoke to front desk and was told they would take care of it and let management know. Breakfast is Good with your usual stuff bacon , sausage, eggs, biscuits, sticky buns , pancakes , cereal, milk, yogurt and fruit. As things happen in life we had to extend our stay and had already checked out of the room. Later after evening My husband went inside to book the room and was told fully book no rooms at all. Well I had seen online there are rooms so I just booked and walked right back in within 3 mins and got a room Ok so they do save rooms for online good for us. At this point I don't care about rewards/ numbers just let me sleep. Get to the room and I was able to push door open no key needed I tried to close door and doesn't work at all The bolt look doesn't work either So now I can't lock the door and knowing their fully booked I can't change rooms. Leaving the room and trying to close/ lock the door takes a few try's and locks if you slam it hard enough. Sorry neighbors! The front desk did send someone up to look at door but only seen it works if you close from the outside of room Again can't lock myself inside for the night. I was told they could give me a free stay for the following night but that doesn't work out for me. This room shouldn't be able to book and the tub should be bleached real well as the corners were filled with mold and so was the soap dispenser That makes three stays and something wrong in each one. Again the beds are all white and cleaned sheets would be nice to have an extra blanket for the thin blooded people.

High drug use at hotel I smelled marijuana as soon as I got to my floor and it continued through the entire stay. The staff said they would look into it but I think it is almost impossible to stop. The hotel has a weird vibe as if it were being used to house people. Lots of do not disturb signs and trash cans sitting outside of rooms. At night people would park in the back lot doing who knows what. Now for the positive info: The breakfast was good. The room was clean. Bottled water was free. I do not recommend the hotel. For a non smoking hotel there was a lot of drug smoke and the vibe was definitely weird.
