Dirty room We stayed here after driving for 8 hours with 3 kids so we were all tired. Let me start by saying the staff was friendly, the sheets were cleaned, and beds were comfy. Cons: No breakfast, couldn't swim in outdoor pool, room reaked of old cigarettes, some of the carpet was damp and causing that spot to start to cave in a bit I guess from the moisture. I wouldn't trust leaving my car unlocked in the parking lot. I had already booked this hotel again, on the way back home, and once we left, I canceled and we stayed in Tupelo, a much nicer town and hotel.

Armed intruder walked in room while I was in bed Booked a room in this hotel . Was subjected to a armed intruder walking in while I was in the bed. The hotel staff tried to clean it up and would not let me call the police. They gave this armed intruder my room key at the front desk. The hotel staff did not care .

No hot water in hotel 2 night stay turned to 1 quickly. Room 111 had no hot water and the house phone didn't work to call the front desk. I was told they sold all rooms and hot water runs out. WOW! I got refunded for 2nd night but not 1st. I was told to email the GM for my issue for the 1st night..STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Really awful We had stayed here in 2017 and it was a nice experience and I left a good review. When we went back to Starkville earlier this month (Labor Day weekend 2022) we thought we’d stay here again. It was a mistake. I’m not sure what happened (post COVID?) but the quality had declined drastically. We had reserved two rooms and they only had one on record. They did fix the problem but blamed Expedia. The room was not clean or comfortable. Limited TV programming on a small screen. The carpets were beyond filthy and smelled bad. Wallpaper peeling. And though they advertise breakfast, there was nothing provided. Today we looked online to plan ahead for Super Bulldog Weekend and saw that they had already gouged their rate at $499 a night! Be warned! This is a fraud!

This place is not fit for human lodging. Run! Run far away from this place!! It is filthy dirty, bugs crawling on the walls, mild growing under the wall paper, a wire short in our bathroom when you flipped on the light, smells bad, gross, gross, gross! It’s very over priced for what it actually is.
