Not just another Holiday Inn Although we were only there for 1 day, we loved our stay up in West Sacramento. We have stayed before at some Holiday Inn but like this one a lot. This worked out perfect for us as we had plans in Davis nearby. Very comfortable room, front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had coffee maker as well as a microwave (which turned out to be helpful). Free parking as well as complimentary breakfast (and they had some items for our vegan lifestyle - yes!). Check-in, check-out efficient and price was good. Would happily stay if we were close by again.

Absolutely Disgusting This hotel is filthy, loud and extremely inconvenient. First, "capitol area" is only true in the sense that Los Angeles is not in the capitol area. The capitol is a 10-15 minute drive away. Second, the gym facility has four light hand weights a three broken cardio machines. Third, it is so proximate to the highway that one can hear cars shifting gears at all times. The room and the fitness room, which lacks even a handle on the door, wee utterly filthy.

Not recommended I'm checking out for what I consider one of the ugliest stays in any hotel. I had reached the front desk multiple times without any response, and apparently, there is no manager on the property. AC/heater - Never worked. The night of the 22 - someone had a party, including weed which makes all the rooms and hallway smoke, and we simply could not sleep. and one of our group went down to the front desk and they did nothing. I'm a businessman who spends at least 30+ nights in hotels a year, and for sure, this stay is one of the references I don't use Hollidayinn as an option.

Nice 1 night stay Room was clean, plumbing and shower was fine. We did not use the amenities or have breakfast. Quick checkin, courteous staff. A/C in lobby was broken during heat wave, staff keep their cool while the hotel lobby didn't. Office chairs in the rooms need replacement. Internet fine. Elevators OK.

It's fine - but under construction Great freeway access. All of the staff were lovely. BUT the hotel is under renovation and I was not made aware when I booked the property. Rates should have been less for the inconvenience of the lobby being torn apart, the breakfast being shoved in a corner, elevators not working, parking taken up by construction equipment and supplies. I am an IHG member and like staying at these properties but I'm disappointed this time for what I paid. I just wish I had been told at booking and/or given a discounted rate. Otherwise it was a fine stay.
