no frills hotel booked last minute Most of the West Yellowstone hotels and motels are no frills but high priced. This hotel served its purpose a quick stay after long day at the parks. Had a room on the second floor and no elevator lots of stairs with luggage but I made it. The bathroom fan had not been cleaned in forever.

A disappointing experience. Good location. Room had a strong smell on arrival, possibly clearing material. Fridge and tv didn’t work, but we realised that it was the socket that was faulty. Only one point to use appliances and chargers, which was at the sink. I asked an office employee a question and she just pointed to another man, didn’t say a word and ignored me.

Would have been okay if not for the price. The room was okay. However bring dedorant because it stank. It has no breakfast, wi fi, or hand rails in bath tub. The price for a small room is almost $240 a night. On the other hand it was cleaned daily and was ideally located just outside the west gate of Yellowstone NP.

If the roads in Yellowstone are closed by flooding and you really need a room...... Start with the light switch not turning anything on. We are hunting around with our phone flashlight to find a working light. Was able to get the lights by the beds operating. They apparently have an electrical problem they are aware of. They had stretched a dollar store extension cord across the room to run everything on the right side of the room out of a single outlet?! The room was very worn and needed a thorough cleaning. Still using physical keys, mattresses had seen many, many seasons pre covid. The parking lot was extremely cramped angle parking, our CRV barely squeezed in through the two rows of the usual huge pickups. Imagine our surprise when we went to leave and management blocked the exit with a dumpster forcing us to back out the way we had come in. I understand rustic charm.... The hotel seems to be operated on a part time basis as the front desk is not manned 24/7 only after check in time. BTW if your looking for the microwave it's sitting at the front desk. That said, the downtown area is very pleasant, but very, very pricey. Most expensive McDonalds I've been to since Moscow, Russia in the 90's.

Keep on driving Do not waste your money staying in this dump!! It was awful, there was what appeared to be blood on the bathroom door, garbage by the bed and nightstand and a dirty pair of socks on the floor. We left without sleeping in the room without a refund, that’s how disgusted we were.
