Even Nicer than Three Years Ago Very Nice Inn & a Good Night's Rest Cost - The price was reasonable - and as cheap as I am, I don't say that often! Our room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. What more could I reasonably ask for at the price? FOUR pillows on the bed allowed ME to cover my ears and sleep while wife watched late night TV. The Inn itself was nice & quiet while we were there. Speaking of quiet... There IS a RR track nearby. Rail traffic was fairly frequent during our visit. I'm a train geek, so I loved the sounds, plus I can sleep through almost anything. My wife (a much lighter sleeper) said she never noticed ANY train noise. Just keep in mind - if you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask for a room AWAY from the tracks. Amenities - Breakfast was very nice. Nothing elaborate, but fresh & hot Biscuits & gravy, fresh fruits, waffle maker and what tasted like REAL coffee...not that powered "shtuff" some places offer. There are also several eateries nearby, many within easy walking distance. The pool (which was down for repairs in a prior review) is fully functional, and looks GREAT. Clean and inviting. The water was pleasantly warm. The "business center" - a pc in the lobby - worked just fine for my needs. Being the last person on earth not having a phone, I really rely on the bc to stay in touch with family Some Choice hotel locations have small individual safes in each room. This location does not. Staff - Last but certainly not least...Very friendly. I was a long ago resident of Scioto county. Every time I talked with Debbie and Rena, I felt like I was "home" again, talking with neighbors. Thank you, ladies! I've stayed here several times over the years, and hope to return this summer. I'll certainly choose THIS location. This is my "Inn of Choice."

Nice place with a giant pool Last night on a road trip so I rented here so my son could swim. Got here and was told the pool wasn't open due to needing repairs, what a shame it's the largest pool I ever seen in a hotel. The room was large and clean, the bathroom was old style with the sink out in the room which I haven't seen in years but I big deal. It was quiet and slept good. The outside doors did lock which with Quality Inn's a lot of time for some reason the outside doors are broken. The lady working the desk was friendly and professional. I'll stay here again but after the pool opens.

Very Good Overnight Stay I stayed overnight at the Wheelersburg OH Comfort Inn and experienced a good stay. The staff (Reina) was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the area was safe. As with practically all hotels these days, the breakfast was basic. I would say the eggs and bacon were edible. I was able to receive all of the cable channels on the television and the internet was pretty quick. I would definitely stay here again with no hesitation.

Clean room. In town for a funeral. Just stayed one night. Room was clean. There is a train that ran nearby that we heard in the evening, but we did not hear it during our sleeping hours (11 pm - 7 am). Ate breakfast at Bob Evans, so did not try the breakfast served at the motel.

Decent Inn & a Good Night's Rest Very friendly helpful staff. The room was clean, fresh smelling, and comfortable. The price was reasonable. The price was reasonable. What more could I reasonably ask for, at this price? Maybe a "business center" (meaning a pc in the lobby)? Wait - they HAVE one, and it worked just fine. It would be nice if every Comfort Inn had the small individual safes in each room. Many we stay in DO have them; this location does not. For future consideration. I've stayed here several times over the years, and I SWEAR the place has been radically remodeled. I recall this location having old-fashioned outside entry doors. If that was the case, those doors are long gone. Everything is inside entry now, with controlled access. Very nice. I'll certainly stay at this location again someday.
