Most relaxing Vacation EVER! We enjoyed the Edelweiss during the "shoulder season" most amenities on the mountain were closed, the office and little store were open every day, the lift & mountain amenities were open on weekends. The views, quiet surroundings and comfortable condo were perfect. We are always running fast, this quiet location gave us the recharging we needed along with the stunning beauty we were surrounded by! We will be back.

Pleasant experience Though the facility needs some updating, i.e. the door handles, door locks, aging utensils we enjoyed our stay. That staff was exceptional and very responsive to our needs.

Fabulous Fall Vacation We were able to visit and enjoy the gorgeous fall trees and glacier National Park. The accomodations are directly on the ski slope too. Edelweiss is a four seasons resort. Make sure you come early. The road to the sun closes in early October.

Old condos, in decent shape and clean, lots and lots of stairs. Whitefish Mountain resort is a large complex of dozens and dozens of condo buildings. Edelweiss is almost 40 years old but has been maintained reasonably well. The night clubs/restaurants were closed this week and I'm thankful for that as the two biggest ones are directly attached and behind the Edelweiss condo building. We were in unit 309 which is a two bedroom with a loft for the master bedroom. You had to park in the front and then walk up to the building, then through and around back to access the stairways. It was 20 steps up and through the building, 31 steps up to our unit and then 14 more steps to get to the master bedroom/loft. This is not a building for seniors or anyone with mobility restrictions. The staff was all very friendly and helpful although they did nothing about the luke warm hot tub. We always count on the hot tub and pool for exercise and relaxing but were not able to enjoy it this vacation. Very disappointing. Whitefish was a 10 minute drive and had lot's of shopping and restaurants. Kalispell was another 15 minutes and had all the big box stores and more restaurants. So overall you could do nothing or lot's. June is a cross over month so not much was open at the resort. If your into Skiing, biking, hiking or zip lines this is the place for you. We will likely not return.

Avoid 3rd floor units at all costs The "chalet style" means you have to carry all your luggage and belonging up and down the stairs. The pool is located far away from the building, we had to drive there and therefore skipped it altogether. The bbq grills are located on the ground floor while our unit was on the 3rd floor! The only nice thing about this resort is that it is next to the lifts which only open on the weekends.
