One night visit Great room large and clean. comfortable pillows and bed. In heart of downtown. No elevator in garage so valet is best option. Alexa in the room is a little strange for me even though I have her in my home. Staff friendly. While restaurant in hotel, there are other options close by.

Noisy all night Nice people but if you want sleep stay away! They have street racing all night long in front if the hotel They know it’s a problem but can’t do anything to stop it Also the train is close and blows its horns all night The restaurant was fine but they didn’t know what champagne was and left our tray in front of the room all night smelling Hot water in the shower barely got warm For the expensive price you can do much better

Comfortable Haven with Wonderful Service This stay at Ambassador Hotel in Wichita was phenomenal. I will say I had the best sleep I can remember in the big oversized bed. Thanks to Sara at the front desk, who helped me out the previous evening when I arrived late after serious traffic delay at 4am. The front Bellman, Todd, was so very eager to help me any way he could even to take something and wash it for me. Crystal and Felipe were also inordinately kind and made me feel more than welcome. 5 star stay thanks to the tremendous service.

Stay away Despite the negative reviews about noise- we decided to stay here on the last night of a long road trip. We thought that since it was a Tuesday night- perhaps the noise wouldn't be a issue- that maybe it was more of a weekend thing. At check in, we were barely greeted and treated like lepers for wearing masks- not a good start. The room was very spacious and felt newly remodeled- but that is a small compensation for the endless noise from motorcycles drag racing nearby. While it seemed like mostly business people staying- there was also a lot of noise from other guests- shouting obscenities and slamming doors late at night. That coupled with drag racing made for a bad nights sleep for us all. We tried requesting extra towels through an app twice- and no one ever brought towels. We ended up calling the front desk to get them. At checkout, when we mentioned these items- we got a cursory and insincere apology. A complete disappointment from start to finish. Save your $$ and stay elsewhere - the Ambassador is not worth it.

We liked the hotel and would stay again We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our 2 queen room as well as the furniture and decor. It was definitely superior and a very good value. Everything was clean. We also enjoyed dinner one night and drinks another night in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was a negative though. One day we were there they offered nothing for breakfast, not even coffee in the lobby. There isn’t a very close by alternative either. The one morning we did eat breakfast there the service was terribly slow due to obvious understaffing. We didn’t even bother trying to eat there the 3rd morning of our visit. We’d definitely consider staying here again and hope service improves as Covid fades away.
