Large comfy room, great location A major hotel chain has bought this place, so they are winding down. Lots of construction debris in the parking lot but no noise disturbed us. We lucked out with a very good rate for one of the remaining rooms. Desk staff was friendly and professional.

Super 8 or Motel 6 would be better than this place I don't want to discount the front staff that was absolutely spectacular to work with but...the stay was terrible. It smelled like smoke in the room, we had a view of the back maintenance area, roaches in the room and hair from other people's nether regions on the bathroom floor. Yes, DISGUSTING! They don't serve any type of breakfast, not that that was great either when they did serve it. (Yes, I've stayed here a couple other times) I will never go back and unless there is absolutely no other rooms available in Wichita, I would not recommend staying here. So all the bad outweighs the front staff, sorry.

Disappointment Under new management. The delicious variety buffet breakfast is gone. Wonderful happy hour has also been deleted. When you asks about these services the attendant looks at you like you are crazy, then when you explain you have been staying at this establishment for years, then and only then do you get the truth. No reason to stay in this outdated hotel. But if you like mismatched window treatment and bedspreads this is the right place to be. For excitement you receive a unreliable old plastic door key that doesn't work 3/4 of the time. So you get to ride up and down on the elevator trying to get it rekeyed.

Stinky room, dated, services not consistent with website. Got to the hotel there was a sign as of 8/1 we no longer serve breakfast. The hotel website says breakfast and eve reception. When asked about that and the evening hospitality reception I was told they canceled both as they are changing to candlewood suite and going to be remodeling. I come to wichita every 6 weeks, this was my first stay at this hotel. The room was large enough, hiwever, the smell was awful! I'm not sure if a dog lived in this room. Yuk!

Great bargain We have stayed here twice. We came for the price and were pleasantly surprised. Good hotel at a great price. It has been updated and looks good. Our room was clean, the bed was good, The staff were helpful and professional.. No complaints.
