Good location that's it. Only thing this place has going for it is the location. Right by everything. Run down and in need of an overhaul. Falling apart to be precise. Went for a convention. Stained bedsheets. Clogged tub drain. Toilet kept running (flapper in tank). Only 2 ice machines on 2nd floor(we were on 6). Old and dirty.

Beach Terrace Motor Inn in Wildwood, NJ - Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. I renamed it "Hell Hole Motel" I have never booked a filthier, more disgusting place to stay in all my travels that have taken me all over the world. There was an event that I was participating in, which is why I booked a room for 4 nights. Less than 3 hours after we checked in, my friend, who has Reactive Airway Disease started to have a serious breathing episode, causing her bronchial tubes to constrict because of the poor air quality coming from the filthy, moldy air vents. We explained the situation to the desk clerk (Julie) and we were told there were no other rooms available. We told her we could not stay because of her medical condition. We had to find another place to stay, or she would have ended up in the ER so she wouldn't get pneumonia. Julie said come back the next day and talk to Michael about receiving a refund for the 3 nights that we did not stay. We went back the next day and Michael said, "Sorry no refunds. Julie said you checked out early." I agreed, that yes, we had no choice but to leave because of my friend's medical condition. I was more than willing to pay for the first night because we had used the thread bare towels and had set on the polyester bedspreads so the room needed a refresh before it could be rebooked by someone else. Michael was arrogant and would not budge. He called his superior and he relayed his side of the story, which did not mention anything about the medical emergency we were experiencing. He just said "They checked out early and now they want a refund. I told Michael that I felt I was being treated unfairly because of our situation. I felt like getting a refund for the 3 nights we did not stay was the fair thing to do. But no, I ended up being charged over $800 for this skanky place. Unless your immune system is equivalent to Superman, I do not recommend this place. The Bolero across the street was clean, updated and very reasonable for the inflated prices they charge because Labor Day Weekend is a popular holiday for NJ because cold weather is just around the corner, and it gets very cold. The Bolero management also told us they get a lot of business from people who first book at Beach Terrace Motor Inn and cannot stand the filthy conditions, so they do exactly what we were forced to do. I will NEVER set foot in that place again.

Terrible Great location near the boardwalk. . Awful rooms and service. Rooms need a deep cleaning. Floors filthy, sand in the beds, dirty towels left in room from previous family. Bathroom ceiling falling down and toilet barely flushed. Cigarette and Marijuana smoke constantly filled the room. No lobby bathrooms and daytime front office worker very unfriendly. We will never stay here again.

The location and view is all that's good This hotel has the perfect location. The view from our balcony couldn't be beat. Howwever, that's about all that is good about this place. Everything was damaged. From the giant hole in the bathroom wall, to the luggage carts. There was sand in our beds when we checked in, and the other half of our group had no comforters on their beds! Didnt realize it until late at night when they were going to bed, so they covered up in their beach towels. When my father in law informed the front desk they didn't give an apology, only said she would notify housekeeping. And later that day they had brought comforters but the dirty sandy sheets remained. We hadn't gone to the beach prior to checking in so it definitely wasn't from us. They gave 4 towels a day for a 6 person room, and we had no toilet paper upon check in. The shower runs opposite temperature, so beware. When turning on it pulls out of the wall completely, so you have to hold it down with one hand and pull it out with the other as to not break it out of the wall. When you finally get the water on to blue (cold) it'll actually be hot and vice versa! The bedside table drawer fell apart when it was pulled out, and one of our dresser drawers wouldn't even open at all. I could jeep going but I bet you get the point. If you want prime location to beach and best part of boardwalk this is it, just know what you're getting into by staying here.

Don't belive anything 90% of the pictures are what this place looked like some time ago but NOT now. No palm tree tops, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, buffets, kitchens, nice rooms, etc. Very misleading, decided on this place based on the misleading and lying photo's. Only when we got there and walked in, all of us were more than disappointed. In the future I will not trust any of the review sites because they do not update and/or verify pictures are real and up to date. PS Wildwood in general is just plain old and worn out, seen better days. Plus who the hell wants to walk forever to get to beach.
