Hampton Inn Wilkesboro

Nice Hotel This is a nice hotel. We had a double-bed room. The room was large and nice, and the bathroom was also good. The hotel seems clean and it is attractive. The bed was comfortable as well. The shower pressure was weak, which is sometimes an issue in hotels. Also, the breakfast area was very nice and attractive, but the food was not replaced in a timely manner. There was a considerable wait for key items on the hot food selection. The oatmeal was good and there were a good amount of toppings for it -- I didn't have an issue with the hot oatmeal, guess it's not as popular with guests as eggs and biscuits, but it's what I like best. All in all, we had a nice stay there.

Understanding and Considerate! On way to NC mountains to check on damage to property. Had no reservation, but GM Lee H. said she would hold room for 2 hours in case I could not access property and have to return. Able to access cabin, but forgot to cancel. No charge. Very understanding!!

Wonderful hotel, excellent breakfast Stayed 2 nights Father's Day weekend. Check in was quick and easy. Given 2 room keys and breakfast hours. Assigned room 301- 2 Adults and 1 Teen. Room was spacious and clean. TV and fridge worked great. Did not use coffee maker as there is a great complimentary coffee bar downstairs. Beds were comfortable. AC performed beautifully. Bathroom was very nice, nice lighting and plenty of storage. Beautiful tiled floor that looks wood planks throughout the room. No ventilation fan in the bathroom, why do hotels do this? Sign on bathroom mirror that says Housekeeping comes every other day. Since we stayed 2 nights we did need to ask for new towels on the 2nd day. Elevators ran great. Ice maker on 3rd floor was broken. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor pool. Lobby is pretty, clean and updated. Nice lounge area with a TV. Breakfast Buffet was every morning 6am to 10am and it was amazing. Very nice variety of breakfast foods to include eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffles, pastries, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, milk, yogurt, oatmeal and a variety of juices. Nice area to sit and eat breakfast. Trays available if you want to take it back to your room. Chatted a few minutes with the chef who was very personable, we thanked him for the great meals each morning. Staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Check out was a breeze, just turned in our cards at the front desk and off we went. Highly recommend Hampton Inn in North Wilkesboro. NC.

One of the nicest Hotels we've stayed at in a long time. Making reservations on line were a breeze. We called and asked for a 1st. floor room, no problem. Upon arrival everything was in order. Plenty of parking, restaurant/ bar within walking distance in the same parking area. The room we had was a suite, very comfortable and very clean. Downside the bathroom tile floor was freezing cold and no exhaust fan could be seen. Also there were no instructions or guide for the TV. took us 2 nights to figure it out.

Great Time Amazing staff, super friendly, overall amazing people. They got my family settled in very quickly, I had to do some printing with their computer, super fast network, and super helpful getting me setup, I very much recommend.
