Dirty! Just a dirty hotel all together. Had to leave a night early and was charged for the night I didn’t spend there.

Days Inn Wilcox Terrible!! NEVER stay at the Days Inn in Wilcox! They will keep the 150$ deposit that you are required to put down!! I stayed here with a friend in April; we were on a two week hiking trip through AZ. We are 2 professional women in our late 60's; a physical therapist and an occupational therapist. When my Visa bill came, the charge was 150$ more than it should have been. When I called the Days Inn to find out about the charge, they initially said I was only charged for the room. I asked them to check further, because of my Visa bill. She checked and then said that they kept the security deposit, because there was URINE on the bed!!! I couldn't believe it! I said that was impossible-I mean REALLY!! I said that that was a mistake, and then she became rude and said that we had signed the form for "incidentals" and so therefore I had agreed to pay. I asked the speak to the manager and had to call back the next day. The manager was equally rude and said the same thing. I called my credit card company and explained the situation. The credit card company will dispute the charge. I don't think I will ever feel comfortable staying at any Days Inn ever again.

Dirty bathroom, hard pillows, spartan We pulled in about 8:30 pm on our way through town, with reservation, which I encourage. There are few places to stay in this part of the state and being right on I-10 and about a day’s drive from LA, the motels fill up. As a result, the parking near the building was all filled and we didn’t feel confident about safety parking in the more distant spots. This is the kind of hotel that has rooms that open to the outside, not an inner corridor, so windows for the downstairs rooms are directly in front of parking spaces. This means light comes in the skimpy curtains as people park and leave at night and noise from slamming car doors comes right into the room. Hint: stay upstairs, even if you have heavy stuff to carry — no elevator. The room was large enough, not crowded, and the floor was laminate wood-look rather than carpet. It appeared to have been remodeled sometime in the past 5 years. So it looked clean till my puppy found some candy under the bed. That happens. But the floor was also cold. The bathroom is divided into the two rooms: one with tub/shower and toilet, and the sink in the main part of the room. In the toilet/shower room, the floor all around the edges and the shower itself were dirty. Not just visible, but movable/wipable. The rest of the room seemed okay, but seeing that dirt made you wonder. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were blocks, so depending on your preference, possibly hard to get comfortable. The breakfast was to be expected: relatively low quality, but at least it had hot food (scrambled eggs, probably powdered given the taste), gravy, biscuits, sausage.

4 day stay Decent but not for family, room not stocked from the beginning for coffee etc, very basic room. Bed sheet inside out. Sink misssing drain stopper, cheap TV remote. The other problem was the noise that transfers into the room, other tv, or conversations from the first floor as I stayed on the second floor
