Fun for families and Clean Check in was easy- we used the self-kiosk and it printed the brackets for us. We loved the fireplace suite. It was huge and very clean. It was also convenient to have a small outside area to let bathing suits dry. The hotel is fun and great for families. There is a charge for parking- it’s 19.00 a night plus tax. If you can find a deal- it’s worth it!

Nickel and Dime - Not Worth it. This was our 3rd time to Great Wolf Lodge but our first time to this one in Williamsburg. I would say it was a true disappointment for the cost. Also, the one in the Poconos is bigger and has more slides. We booked a Grizzly Bear Suite and was placed on the 3rd floor - if we were any further from the park/pool we could have driven there. The room was clean but furniture was old and rundown - they say in the description that they are queen beds but they are full size at best. Our 2 bedroom suite (sleeps 6-8) had issues - the master bedroom has the a/c unit in it and it is very loud - very hard to sleep. The other bedroom has no windows and 1 small light so it is very dark and the a/c did not really pump much air in there so my kids and grandkids were sweating the entire time. The living room had a small couch that was stained and smelled. For a room that supposed to hold 6-8 people there was a small table with 2 chairs (should everyone else sit on the floor). They nickel and dime you for everything. I could not believe we had to pay $19 a day for parking. the food is basic at best and overpriced. We had the breakfast plan and it was about $19 a person - not terrible but only 1 poor guy making omelets for a ton of people so the wait was long. Alcoholic drinks are expensive and watered down. I was concerned about safety because the outdoor pool had only 1 lifeguard watching tons of kids for extended periods of time. The gift shop is overpriced with bubble machines going for $35 each. The Dunkin Donuts in the lobby is a nice perk but it is very overpriced and the line is very long. The ice cream shop is nice but again, way overpriced. Variety of food is amusement park - very few vegetarian or healthy options, no real salads offered. A sit down / waiter style restaurant would have been nice. I do not think we will return here again.

Fraudulent charge's- do not add card to wristband We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and were wrongly charged for alcohol we never ordered or consumed. Despite trying to resolve it with guest services and providing evidence, they refused to reverse the charge. This was incredibly frustrating, especially at a family-oriented resort. I wouldn’t expect this kind of treatment after spending thousands of dollars on our stay. On top of that, the room wasn’t properly cleaned—we found a pair of someone else’s underwear under a bench. Disappointed in both the cleanliness and the handling of a clear billing error.

Had roaches in both of our rooms. The customer service manager was horrible tried to gas light me that they didn't have a bug problem knowing they did. Overcharged us double - charged for towels when i made sure we turned in them all. They exploit the young workers. They were not getting breaks etc. Just not a good experience and now bringing home bugs. They didn't offer any solution and won't take my calls about over charging.

Our pack of 3 had a fun time just be mindful of the costs and noise At the beginning of May we made reservations for 3 nights (Wed - Sat) in the middle of June. There were no longer any rooms with a balcony available so we chose to pay more money for an upgraded Family Fireplace Suite. Check in time is after 4PM and Check out time is before 11AM. We arrived a little early and were able to check in at 3:30PM. The porte-cochere was packed at the time of our arrival and there was also a line inside to wait to get checked in. There was music playing and lots of people all around the check in area which made hearing the person behind the counter quite difficult. If the resort cared, they would resolve that issue. The front desk issues all guests with wristbands to use for your entire stay. They act as your room key and get you into the other building entrances from the parking lot. Speaking of parking, they charge you an extra $20.33, including tax, per day to park a vehicle in their lot. The room rate before taxes on Wed. and Thu. nights was $218.49. For Fri. night it was $307.30 before taxes. That was with the Triple Fun deal that they offer for a 30% discount on 3+ night stays when booked within 60 days of arrival. The suite (our den) was quite spacious to which we were grateful. It had hardwood flooring, two queen beds, and a separate living area with a sleeper sofa. There was a half-height fridge, microwave, sink, table with two chairs, TV, and a fireplace that was extremely useful in mid-June! We found plenty of towels of assorted sizes stocked in the bathroom. They provided complimentary lotion, conditioning shampoo, and shower gel. The shower took a little effort and use of the brain to figure out how to work (good luck with figuring out that puzzle by the way). There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was normal with no problems. The A/C worked great for us and we left it on the entire time we were there. Wi-Fi was easy, no password required, unlimited, and was fast enough for all of our use. We found the room clean and provided us everything we needed and more. The all-day soccer tournament that I'm convinced was taken place directly upstairs from us for the entire time we were there was another story so good luck with that noise. Also, be aware that you can relish the random high-pitched screams of little girls followed by full on sprints in the hallways all throughout the day. Hibernation (quiet time) hours are from 11PM - 7AM. We didn't purchase any packages or passes or experience any attractions that cost extra. Pup Passes (Toddlers) are $54.99, Paw Passes (Teens) are $79.99, and Wolf Passes are $99.99. If you'd like, you can even add late check-out for $69.99 to be able to leave 3 hours later at 2PM instead of 11AM. There's an option to pay $17.99 per person per morning for breakfast. It's all about diming and quartering you. Instead, we took advantage of unlimited water park access. They provide towels for use inside the water park so no need to bring any from your room. Without paying for any additional items, we spent $900 for a 3 night stay. It was our first visit to a Great Wolf Lodge resort and we enjoyed our adventure.
