Homewood Suites by Hilton Williamsburg

Great stay My stay at the Homewood Suites was amazing! I highly recommend staying here! The front desk employee Trevaughn was very helpful, answered every question, and was very polite. He made our stay here exceptional! The location was really nice as well!

Disappointing Stay in Every possible dimension It’s hard to tell where to begin in describing how awful this hotel is. I’ve stayed in hotels across the globe, so I’m not exactly demanding about my accommodations. The “smoke free” room was not. Based on the strength of the remaining odors, it’s doubtful rooms get anything other than a cursory cleaning after pets are there. The rooms are poorly maintained and the overall hotel is run down. The common trash is emptied infrequently, so you’ll get ample chance to enjoy whatever secondhand DoorDash that’s left around your floor. Between the trapped pet odors and the smoke, my son was so violently ill that we had to leave after a few hours in our room to seek medical attention. That’s not exactly the vacation experience we were expecting! We have a dog at home, so my son is not exactly particularly sensitive. The rooms are just that bad. We weren’t exactly heartbroken to leave due to the multiple rust and urine stains on the mattresses. Which brings me to the staff….. When I told the gentleman at the front desk I needed to leave because my son was sick, he told me I couldn’t check out because I’d prepaid for the stay. I’m not even sure that’s legal. He would not provide a receipt at all. (Please not that TripAdvisor directed modification to this review so it is only limited feedback.)

Comfortable, Clean, and Welcoming After staying here, I would assume any review for this hotel below 5 stars was either a fluke or a reflection on the person leaving the review. The staff here were some of the most welcoming and hospitable group of people I’ve come across when staying at a hotel and their hard work is reflected in the pristine state of the establishment. Any request I made was met with excitement as if I were the most important person in the building, and I’m not even a member of their reward program. Every amenity exceeded my expectations tenfold, and while I never wish to be away from home longer than I have to, my room was so comfortable I almost wished I could’ve stayed a couple more nights. Nothing but great things and tons of “thank you”s to say.

Awesome Stay A great experience! Staff was super friendly and the room was clean. Many great activities to do nearby. Breakfast was very good as well. Overall I’m super satisfied with my stay and I would 100% come here again and would recommend the homewood suites to anyone!!!!!

An easy start So clean such sweet staff. Stayed for one night on a Saturday and the room was SO QUIET. Normally on weekend stays I have to deal with noisy neighbors but not this time. When I checked in the front desk people were super welcoming and told me some things to check out in the area. The breakfast was actually good compared to most hotel’s. Very pleased
