Terrible We had originally booked two hotels in Williamsburg for our family stay but due too a family emergency part of our group we not able too travel We had booked the advance purchase rate and we knew that we would be charged the full amount of $323 which we knew would happen and we knew the booking conditions when we booked So they took the full amount on the day of check in which was obviously expected That's when it gets ridiculous the next morning I get notifications from the card issuer that another $242 and another $161 has been charged I rung the Hotel on the Tuesday morning at 7am too speak too the receptionist and explained that we would not be showing up and was told by her that the charges I would have too speak too a manager who started later that day as she was not able too help me As a Platinum member I rung the dedicated helpline for choice members my question was even though I was a no show I honoured my part of the contract by paying the full amount and why would the hotel then proceed too take another $400 dollars charged too my card within the next 24 hours Again I fulfilled my part of the contract by paying the full money for the stay Then steps in Andre because I left a review of my experience with staff who were not able too make decisions without a managers approval makes out they actually did me a favour how does that work I fulfilled my part of the booking and paid in full for the hotel room that was booked Nearly twenty days later I still have the second $161 payment pending as the hotel apparently has not took the above money out according too Andre and he can find no records of it Assistant manager who couldn't run a bath Attached photos because apparently these transactions are a figment of my imagination 1 has been reverted 1 still pending

Wonderful experience We had a really great 8-day stay here. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We were always greeted when we returned each evening. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot items and Lee saw that everything was filled and tables cleaned. Cleaning staff asked each morning as we were leaving if there was anything we needed. Never had to call for more towels, there were always plenty. Room was clean and comfortable. AC worked great. The first night when leaving for supper I asked for a shower chair and one was in the shower when we returned. And they offer coffee and hot chocolate in the dining area 24/7. I can’t say enough good things about how accommodating the staff was. Definitely would stay here again.

Great stay We stayed here for 3 nights May 17-20. Andre was there when we arrived and checked us in! He was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was exactly what we needed! Something central to the historic area and shopping! Although a little dated, it was clean and the staff were always kind. This is our first time staying here and would most definitely consider it again!

Great Place to stay! I have stayed here many times. Great service and very clean rooms. The front desk personnel are very helpful. Breakfast is always good too. My friend came with me and she has really enjoyed it. We also like location, near restaurants and Colonial.

Stated "Pet friendly" but someone needs to give them the definition of friendly! This hotel stated pet friendly, but when we arrived, a pet policy was stuck in my face stating that if your dog is left alone and they bark, they will automatically charge your account $300. I'm not sure why they say they are pet friendly as very obviously they are not. We have traveled extensively throughout the United States, and this is the FIRST time I have ever encountered such a "pet policy." My suggestion to you would be to look elsewhere for accommodations in Williamsburg. It also appeared that the person at the front desk took great pleasure in making sure these rules were followed. Again, if you are traveling with your furbaby, look elsewhere for accommodations.
