Impossible service There is no apparent management of the facility. We asked to have trash removed from our room on 2 different nights during our week long stay; they didn't do it. Asked to have room cleaned 2 times. They did it once. There have been about 10 cars in the lot, so it's not like the place is busy. Rooms are modern and nice, but service is a joke. Good location, yes,but come on... they removed microwaves from lobby kitchen, so you must bring your food back to your room to warm up, so when they won't get your trash, room begins to smell bad.

Great clean place and a nice location This was a very clean place with a friendly staff. The room was very clean and modern. The location is very nice with many places to eat/shop close by. The only gripe I had was that the signage outside to indicate which hotel this is was lacking. It appears this used to be a different hotel so the only thing that indicates this is now a holiday express is a small sign on the roof of the building (which isn't lit up at night). Certainly not a big deal to us though, we would definitely stay here again. It's a 60 minute drive from Dover, fyi.

Insults, frustration, and bad service Did not greet me as IHG gold member because desk clerk was too busy putting on her mask and cringing behind Plexiglas. No service for the room, you have to live with unmade bed and dirty towels. No breakfast. They had some cold cereal, fruit cups, youghurt and milk on Saturday, most was gone on Sunday. Coffee was gone at 9 am. Treated like a leper at every opportunity for human contact. Have to drop key cards in disinfectant when checking out. Insulting covid reminders everywhere. No thank you for staying with us on departure or any interest if our stay was ok. If Holiday inns want to provide a third tier experience, they need to lower their prices to reflect the absence of service. For too long covid is always the excuse.

One Night Stay was Clean, but Not Really Accessible We booked a one night stay at this property, requesting an accessible room with roll-in shower. The room was poorly laid out for a wheelchair user. Very little room to move, and the window shades were unreachable by the wheelchair user; being on the first-floor, this would have been a problem had the wheelchair user travelled alone. The roll-in shower was spacious and all controls/soaps were in easy reach; this was great. The accessible closet had *no* hangers at all, and the coat-hooks over the counter proved largely useless. The in-room safe was *not* bolted to the floor, making its effectiveness highly questionable. Staff interactions were pleasant. The property was clean and well-lit throughout. The breakfast was a little skimpy, in no small part due to COVID.
