Much need renovation has been done This hotel has been totally overhauled. I was afraid when I booked it because I had read the reviews. But they just reopened on Feb 23 2024. I think they still have work to do on the outside but the rooms are all re done. New beds, furnishings, laminate floors. Don’t be scared! Lol

Major leaks and mold!!!! This hotel is full of mold, mildew, leaks, and falling plaster in bathrooms and by air conditioning units. My family stayed for important event in our family. There was no option to leave the hotel as there were multiple graduations in the area, softball and baseball tournaments so hotels were full. The room my sister was in was the worst and although, they finally moved her on the 3rd night - she has been VERY sick from the mold for 3 1/2 weeks!!! Four doctors visits! The manager would not credit her stay when she called to tell her how sick she was from the room stay. The attached pictures are from my room not my sisters which was the worst room!!! I will say the breakfast was the best part of our stay! I will also state that I take senior adults ALL over the world and this is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. It would not have been acceptable for my business clients!

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Disappointed n this hotel room. No fault to staff, who were all very nice and helpful. Just a really bad room.We stayed in 3 different Holiday Inn rooms on our travel south. This one was not up to the Holiday standards in my opinion. The room was very small , bathroom so small you could barely get yourself in and turn to use toilet. Tight squeeze between door , tub and toilet. The shampoo and gel bottles were either empty or too hardened to pump out. Fridge was not clean, But worst of all was the chair in the room. Shockingly bad condition. The cushion was in such terrible condition , it needs to be replaced . Dont think anyone should sit on something that looked that bad., will share picture. Small hotel with small elevator to second floor , you might have trouble if using wheel chair. Maybe all rooms aren't so cramped for space. But at $145 should get a fresher more open room to stay. Maybe time for a renovation? We've stayed in budget priced rooms that look much nicer :( Again, all of this is about the room...NOT THE STAFF, excellent staff. We love Holiday Inn, but this one.. not so much.

Better wait until they fix things Hotel needs a complete remodel-stains in ceiling from roof leak-rooms were tired and worn-still have popcorn ceiling. Cable TV was out and the room heater kept resetting itself to 77 degrees-it felt like an oven. One bright spot was the complimentary breakfast was better than most-crispy bacon and omelette especially.
