Open for business? The outward appearance is that they aren't really open. Going in did little to alter that impression. The reception desk closest to the entrance was unstaffed; had to walk quite a distance to another desk, set much further back. Great place for the desk clerk to hide, since he didn't seem all that interested in checking me in. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. Definitely the cheapest room in the area on the booking site, but next to nothing in the way of amenities or atmosphere.

Worst stay in a hotel ever! I called beforehand to verify that the heated indoor pool that they advertised was actually open. The agent I spoke to assured me that it would be open. Of course - it wasn’t. The parking lot was like a garbage dumpster. The hotel was in the middle of being renovated. The room was so musty, my son who has allergies couldn’t be in the room without having reactions. The beds weren’t made - in fact the linens were stained. Yuck! We moved to another room which turned out to be clean. But there were no towels and no linens! We have never had such a bad experience. It seems that the hotel should have been closed during (much needed) renovations, but it’s like they didn’t want to lose the income. They should have been honest about the condition of the place. In six months it will probably be much nicer, but in the meantime I don’t think I’ll ever stay at a Travelodge again. They had a lot of nerve to lie like that.

I tried giving the benefit of the doubt... My husband and I knew going into this trip that the Travelodge was getting 1-star reviews...We knew the motel was under construction, we weren’t surprised that the pool was closed, we did get one soft towel from a staff member since the other towels in the room were like sandpaper...All we really wanted was a clean place to sleep ... SO, when we returned from our daytime outings at 3pm, our room was never cleaned, bed not made, etc. This we could shrug off... When we returned from dinner at 9:30pm and finally went to bed, we were awoken by vibrating, pulsing sounds that we found out was actually coming from an event happening in the lobby area. My husband had no luck getting a staff member to answer the phone. So he called the police who verified that an event had been booked m until 3:00AM!!! After hanging up with police, someone from the motel called back our room and informed us that the bass/volume could not be turned down. Nice. Literally, at 2:58AM, the vibrating and pulsing finally stopped. Oh, did mention that our bathroom was also permeated with the stench of marijuana that we believe was coming from the room below us. The moral of the story? You get what you pay for!

Mr Jackson I first visit this hotel about a year ago based on the pictures on the website and on arrival it was nothing like what was posted total dump. Was checked into room that was clearly not prepared, urine and tissue in the toilet, dirt rings in the tub, bed one bed unmade, half eaten pizza in box on the TV stand, dirt and dead flies on the window sill behind the curtains and a damp smell from hallways to room. Went back to the desk and was greeted with loads of opologies and excuses about staff not turning up, new management and hotel under refurb. Checked out immediately. Decided to give them a second chance last month as it was close enough to get to and from for my daily activities.... You would have thought after a year there would have been some improvement,. Ha ha it was worst, I couldn't even find the staff to check me in but was met with a sign on the desk that said closed till 07am I arrived at midnight due to a delayed flight. The outside was dark and obviously still under refurb. I walked through the entire hotel and saw no member of staff just one fellow who said he was a guest and had been locked out of his room as his key card didn't work. This is an embarrassment to the travel lodge franchise as I always use them when travelling around the UK.

OMFG JUST DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! Had a reservation at travelodge, my wife and i showed up for our reservation, had a confirmation. Noone at the counter sign till 7 am! Wtf. And its a haunted dump too people sleeping in the dirty reception area and people obviously drugged out in and out! Booking.com needs to rid themselves of this place and not allow reservations or recommend them.
