Quality Inn Winnemucca - Model T Casino

Bad experience Where do I begin? Housekeeping was bad. The pillows were lumpy. They didn't make the bed. Bathtub was dirty and the only time they vacuumed was after I complained to the front desk.they didn't replace the amenities only after My complaints. The only good thing was the breakfast but the dinner was bad and my friends got sick after eating dinner. I do have to say that the front desk people were very nice and helpful!

Average at best The room is comfortable and everything worked. The staff is a little underwhelming. The check out person in the morning was so half asleep she could not get anything to work or give me a receipt. The breakfast coupon they give you is very small limited portions or $2 off the menu. Most places do better. I guess it is about average anymore.

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!! Handicapped individuals - don't stay here. I made reservations, held with a credit card, three months prior to our arrival date. My family had driven us from Little America, Wyoming to this hotel. The room we reserved was a double queen handicapped room. When we arrived at the hotel, my husband checked in. We then found out they gave our reserved, handicapped room away. They did try to give us a different room at a reduced rate, but it was not the type of handicapped room we had reserved and needed. So, we had no room to stay after driving for 6 hours. The hotel didn't even try to reach out to us first. I find this is extremely rude customer service. No explanation was given as to why they gave our room away or why they couldn't have called us to let us know. So, lesson learned: Just because you held the room with a credit card, they might still give it away and not tell you until you arrive. By the way, if I could rate this hotel at zero stars, I would.

Centrally located Clean and Friendly. We were happy with the room, and the free breakfast at the cafe. Fresh Food!.. You get a choice of free freshly cooked food!!! ...served to you as you sit. The room had everything we needed and nothing we didn't need. The Beds were Heavenly!!!! My husband is a Veteran, and we received a discount. The Casino was not our reason for going. We were treated royally. Very Satisfied

Awful! The Model T Quality Inn was an extreme disappointment. To begin with, the furniture in the room was old and in barely adequate condition. The cable TV system worked poorly. The antenna that connects the remote control to the cable system did not function correctly, and as a result, changing channels was impossible. I had to call the front desk three times regarding the issue and the clerk claimed that she would send maintenance each time I called. Needless to say, after waiting 90 minutes, no one from maintenance appeared. There were no bath towels in the room, none were delivered when I called, and I had to go to the front desk to get them. On the morning of check out I tried to reach the front desk due to an error on my bill and none of my calls were answered. The excuse I received from the assistant manager was that they didn't have time to answer my call because potential new customers were calling. Apparently, existing customers are unimportant to the management. The restaurant was another story. I went there for dinner and noticed that most of the tables had not been cleaned, yet three servers were busy talking with each other. On the positive side, my server was great. She was attentive, friendly, efficient, and seemed genuinely interested in providing her customers with a good experience. I wish I could say the same for the others. Overall, the place is a dump. I expected more for the $149.00 per night rate. I will never stay at that location again and can not recommend it for anyone. If I was the owner, I would fire the manager and hire someone with an understanding of the hospitality business. The bottom line is stay anywhere but the Quality Inn when you visit Winnemucca!
