This is not a place you want to stay! Never have I started a hotel review with this, but it's true..... it was DISGUSTING! I started to list out 22 reasons (I counted) why you should not stay here, in the end, I decided just this one thing was enough to give you the full view of this hotel. I fully admit that this is not even close to the level of hotel I generally reserve, just a necessity on a long car drive, my expectations starting out were pretty low already. I checked in after 9pm after a very long day, dropped my toiletries in the bathroom and 30 min or so later I went to bed. Woke up a couple of hours later with a complaining bladder and so I stumbled to the bathroom in the dark. After relieving myself, I found that I was having trouble getting the toilet paper off the roll (weird), so I took the TP off the holder in the dark to try and unroll some, but still was having difficulties. I put the roll back on the holder, used the scraps I had managed to pull off and got and flushed. Now I'm completely awake, so I feel around and find the light switch and turn it on to figure out what's up with the TP.... and didn't understand what I was seeing. Then it dawned on me......... when I took the TP off the bar, I put it back back to front - so what previously had faced the wall now faced out at me. It had been soaked in something that had now dried, and had smears of feces gluing the sheets together! That was what was preventing the TP from coming off like a normal roll - see photo. What happened next: 1. I washed my hands for the following 10 min. 2. I used a washcloth to remove the roll and dump it in the garbage (with the washcloth) 3. I cleaned everything I touched with soap - toilet flush handle, light switch, water facet, bathroom vanity counter. 4. Washed my hands again. 5. Unwrapped a new roll of TP, inspected it thoroughly, found it acceptable and put it on the TP holder arm. I was so mad I started to march down to the front desk to raise hell and then I realized, I had already taken 2 other pics of stuff that discussed me (not to mention the mildly gross stuff I had noticed but not photographed) and I realized.... this is how this hotel does business! So I got out of there the minute I could - no shower, no nothing, in the pajamas I slept in - and got as far away from that place as I could.

Amazing Hotel This hotel is amazing!!! My son plays football for Mississippi State and I usually get a hotel in Starkville however everything was full. Once I arrived at this hotel I was amazed at the over appearance, cleanliness and amazing staff. I’m definitely recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay after the game.

Avoid As an IHG member for nearly 30 years I have visited many hotels, in the group, but this must rank as one of the poorest. We had a lukewarm welcome and the room was not as clean as it should have been with a dirty carpet and a massive stain in the toilet pan (easily removed with limescale). The swimming pool was dirty and the breakfast, although free, was poor.

Average. Meets expectations. Room 211 2 beds. Had everything expected, Kureg, tea. Dove travel size toiletries. Huge tv. Breakfast had everything and the pancake machine works. Several kinds of fruit, sausage and bacon. The boiled eggs were green though. Coffee bar did not have cocoa or hot sleeves. There was an attendant. The parking lot is very poorly designed. Getting around a median with your luggage cart is a mile, you have to drag it over.
