A pleasant surprise We had points for one night from another hotel and decided to try this Holiday Inn Express. We were not disappointed. We had a king room with a sofa bed and it really was roomy. The bed was comfortable and what I liked was that there was a lot of soft lighting in the room. I also liked that they were enough plugs for all our gadgets near the bed. Another nice thing was that the shampoo, lotion, hand soap, etc were in bottles on the wall so we didn't have to deal with those little bars of soap. The pool temperature and hot tub temperature were just right. Breakfast items were good and I like the little pancake maker. I think those are nicer than waffle makers when somebody doesn't know how to use a waffle maker. We had no trouble finding parking there. It was also close to many eating places and many shopping areas. I felt safe in this area. Lavette, Perla, and Jimy at the front desk went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. That alone made a difference for me in liking the hotel. I would definitely go there again or tell somebody else to go there.

Awful Experience Awful experience. I am a reward member and even before I arrived I was charged twice in advance yet not a pre pay. Had to go thru American Express to get credit. Once here arrived at 12:30 and they had rooms open but was too cannot check in until 3. I tried to explain I needed room as I was working and had to get to appt and not back till late and she said no exceptions. She was rude. When got here at 10PM parties all over from inside lobby to halls and parking lot. Loud and drinking and smoking. The have have 10 PM quite time and was not enforced. The young kid at desk was clueless and helpless. This is not accepatvel and will Neve stay again.

Good for 1 night The outside looks very nice, but the inside isn't your typical Holiday Inn. The lobby was very small as well as the breakfast area. Not your typical welcoming foyer area for a Holiday Inn. The room was just average, nothing special, but it was clean and ok for 1 night.

Pleasant surprise After reading reviews wasn't expecting too much, just looking for a place to sleep. Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom had Dove skin care. Many different types of restaurants nearby. Breakfast also had a nice variety. Would stay here again.

Comfortable night stay This hotel is directly off interstate 94 in Woodbury and close to 2 gas stations, Walmart, some shopping and other restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable- comfortable bed as well. Free breakfast appeared to be a mess- No Bacon and Eggs they were all gone. They finally replenished them after a long time.
