Cheap and Convenient Stay in NYC When looking for a hotel in NYC we found this hotel a little out of the way but conveniently near the subway so getting into Manhattan was easy. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The reviews did make us a little weary but for what we paid compared to the prices in Manhattan we would stay again.

Homeless Shelter Absolutely the worst motel Ive had the misfortune of staying at. No mention of location being used as a homeless shelter when i booked my room. They had a security guard "greet" me in the lobby, a necessary evil i guess when half the rooms are occupied by the homeless. Rooms are filthy, hallways smell of marijuana, and the surrounding area was not the safest looking at nighttime with homeless people lurking in the shadows drinking and doing drugs. Don't come here unless its an absolute emergency.

Poor Hotel My experience with this hotel was very poor, bed sheets were dirty, pillows cases were dirty, carpet smelled badly, people fighting in the elevator, screaming in the hallway, and to employ someone was smoking marijuana, and the smell Entered my room, would not recommend this hotel

Convenient. OK, a visit to NYC is not cheap. So we found this hotel at a reasonable price and it includes parking. A small breakfast that can get you started. and a few places to eat within walking distance. But the best is that it is close enough to the subway so we were at the Empire state in around 30 min. and able to conmute to LaGuardia and JFK. The rooms could use new carpet. And they could try to make the breakfast area a bit larger. But since we were out on the town most of the day it worked for us.

Perfect spot for our NYC vacation We drove to NYC so we needed somewhere with free parking. This place was perfect for us. Had free parking and was a long block walk to the subway. We went into the city each day by subway and back late at night. The number seven train is open 24 hours a day. Our room was on the back and it was very quiet. The Wi-Fi worked great. The breakfast was the same each day: pre-cooked eggs and sausage, bagels, toast, two kinds of cereal, two kinds of juice, milk, and pastries - not bad. We were very pleased with the service at the front desk. The only real negative was the TV service – very limited number of channels.
