Hotel Hell total dump. this place used to be something a long time ago. now it's seedy, dirty, smells weird, random people are stumbling around the halls like zombies in a central american horror flick, there are abandoned cars in the parking lot, and the room looked like somebody stole everything of value out of it. not including the broken tv set. they didn't even refund my security deposit.

Worse visit ever!!! My husband and I visited Reading, PA for a show in Reading and made reservations about a month prior. Upon driving into the parking lot there were people hanging around the main entrance and several other areas around the building. First, we couldn't even find our room. It was down another short hallway around a corner. We were only there a few minutes when a 3" thousand legger bug scampered across the bathroom floor. There was no way to lock the room door if you would leave for any reason. Anyone could have walked right in while you were gone. Toilet was so low to the floor it was hard to stand up again.Could not figure out how to turn the TV on. I'd press the ON button but nothing happened. Doors had space around the jams when it was closed. Room door had a deadbolt but nothing else. We just did not feel safe. Just a lot of questionable people hanging around, inside and outside. We didn't stay, we went around the corner to Comfort Inn. It was a relief!! They did offer to put us in another room, but we left. Nasty place. Don't know if I will get any money back yet. Horrible place, do not go there!!! The pictures on the internet DO NOT match the place at all!! No pool, spa, work out room, or any kind of breakfast which was all in the advertisement. When we got there, they said all that was closed since the pandemic. Would have been nice to know. All that should have been in the ad. The ad should be taken off the internet. If I could give a zero rating, that's what it would be.

The worst motel This has to be the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. If i could give it a 0 I would. It is filthy, it smells, the air conditioning does not work. I think people live there, maybe a drug house. We were waiting for our Uber and I called ever other hotel around and could not get a room. I would have rather slept in my car. Thank god i bring my own pillows and a bottle of spray alcohol. I don’t think it is safe to stay there.

Avoid If Possible! I have stayed at this hotel several times before but, I am sorry to say, that this place has gone downhill. After reserving via Hotwire we contacted the hotel to make the two rooms we reserved were next to each other. Upon check-in at first the rooms were in whole different sections of the hotel. The issue was somewhat addressed with the rooms being in the same part of the hotel but, at the time of check-in, one of the rooms was not ready for use. As it was the afternoon we ventured into the area to do some things but, when we came back, the room that was supposed to be ready was, in fact, not ready and we were going to have rooms put in totally separate parts of the hotel. After pleading our case to have the rooms at least in the same section we were able to get rooms in the same wing of the hotel BUT the air conditioning did not work in either room on a really hot night. Totally miserable and not the 4 Star experience we paid for (all Hotwire did was issue a $15 credit...whoopee!). The front desk was very nice and tried to do things but had no real power to make things right. Also...the hotel was the center of activity BUT not good activity! It felt like we were in the middle of a "COPS" show with police pulling people over in the parking lot, pulling guns out and arresting people. Such a stark contrast to just a few years ago...don't stay hear no matter how cheap it is!
