One of the worst run hotels ever I will start by saying I have stayed in a few Country Inn hotels over the years but by far this is the worst. We spent one night there, really wish we had kept on driving. The room smelled nasty. We had to spray freshener as well as leave the door open to try to moderate the smell. It was pretty bad. After checking out the next day and continuing our vacation we saw they snuck a $150 charge for smoking in the room. I called and explained to the desk clerk we do not smoke. PERIOD. The "manager" Jaime Arnold would not get on the phone but rather passed messages to the clerk. "She verified it", was the message this very poor manager passed back. She does not seem to care about the guest experience but rather using the guests money to cover her cleaning expenses. I will add one more thing to this review. There was an older lady trying to check in on her reservation with her handy capped mother. The hotel had evidently double booked her room and was trying to put her and her wheelchair bound mother on the 4th floor in a non-ada room. She was told sorry that's all we have. Very poor hotel!

It was a nice place to sleep. No frills or extras. Upon entering the hotel it was nice and clean. We wanted a room on the top floor, they were not available. So we took a room on the 3rd floor. We heard the elevator traffic and the ice machine most of the early morning. The beds were comfortable and the shower water pressure was good also. The shower trim needs a little TLC. Upon going to breakfast, there were limited choices. No bread, bagels, fruit or waffle mix. The bacon was good but the eggs were cold. The mini muffins were average; due to the fact that was our only choice. The highlight was snagging the last two chocolate chip cookies on the way out the door. The desk clerk was very apologetic but we still left disappointed.

Not a success I would try another hotel next time. The bathroom wasn't clean and the tub was damaged. There was a musty odor. The room was cold and took a while to heat up. You could hear the highway noise. The breakfast was pretty good . And the price was very reasonable.

Keep Driving! I not quite sure why this hotel rates so high? We were given a room #211 in the hall at the head of 2nd floor stair facing front entrance. It was noisy. The bathroom sink is way too high and the toilet way too low. If you are a short person the sink comes up chest height. If you are 6 foot the toilet is a long way down. The closet door didn’t close, the refrigerator is tiny the room is just odd. The whole lot is just noisy from the Highway. The breakfast was mediocre. My husband never complains about accommodations and he was disappointed. How this hotel got an award is beyond me. It needs to be seriously updated. I know choice is a budget chain but really, they can do better than this.
