  • Clapp Studios
The photographers at Clapp Studios categorize their snapshots into two themes: LoveStyle and LifeStyle. LoveStyle shoots capture couples at the height of their romance, flashing the camera as lovebirds get engaged, take their vows, or carve their initials into the side of a police cruiser. Documenting the next stages of couples’ relationships, LifeStyle photos tell the stories of growing families with elegant, tasteful shots of expectant mothers, sleepy-eyed newborns, and grinning children. Clapp Studios also helps keep romance alive with flirtatious boudoir photo shoots, which gussy up subjects beforehand with makeovers from a makeup artist.

  • Studio Gagliano
Photographer April Cullett understands the importance of color, placement, and collaboration?she used to be an interior decorator before she opened Studio Gagliano. Nowadays, her eye for making things look their best influences her contemporary style of wedding photography and family portraiture. Her portfolio showcases a selection of black-and-white and color images, as well as a recurring technique, the side-by-side photo, which places multiple poses next to each other to create one memorable image. A majority of Cullett?s work is backdropped by city and rural landscapes, as well as patterned sheets in her naturally lit photography studio, and her collaborative approach produces both posed and spontaneous photos. To keep the collaboration going, Cullett invites her clients to the studio following each session to view a slideshow of the photos and select the best ones for placement on a private online gallery.

facet: Main type: BusinessTypeQuestionnaire locale: en_US title: A Chat with Jennifer Schaefer Photography facet_type_id: 08faef00-118c-1033-9fff-579862c3cb8e html_text: What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? My commitment to providing the best quality work possible. I am a perfectionist and want my clients to be happy and excited about their images. I want to capture them in a moment that is special and memorable to them for eternity. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I've always had a love for photography and have been taking pictures as long as I can remember. After harassing my own family and kids a friend of mine asked if I could photograph her family and then expanded that into boudoir photography (my main focus) and I fell in love. What do you love most about your job? Everything!! From setting up the sessions, creating the scene, communicating with my clients and editing the images. I love it all. Especially boudoir photography! It can boost a person's self esteem exponentially and I love making people feel good about themselves. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? How comfortable they feel with me. That is extremely important when shooting boudoir photography. How happy they are and how amazed they are with the finished product. I've been told that this is my calling so I can't deny it :)
