You will meet new friends, and together you will be able to hold one another accountable. What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make? • CrossFit TurnPoint
Students should bring: Bottle of water Registration required: Yes Good for beginners: Yes Average class length: 60 minutes Number of Staff: 1–5 people Class location: Mix of indoor and outdoor classes Established: 2013 Parking: Parking lot Pro Tip: Please arrive 5–10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time to fill out a waiver. Q&A with Laura, Owner And Coach Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated? The backbone of CrossFit TurnPoint is our community, which inspires members to come in and sweat together despite how tired they are feeling or how hard the workout appears to be. Our members support one another through every workout by encouraging each other to fight for another rep or a heavier weight. What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make? Most beginners who walk in our doors are often intimidated by the heavy weights and the unfamiliar workout movements; however, in just a few weeks those beginners are now the ones cheering on and encouraging the first time visitor. There is a change in both their physical body and their self-esteem. Within a few weeks they are lifting heavier weights, running faster, and doing these things with confidence in themselves and their ability. Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend their time at your facility? We offer shower facilities so that clients can wash up after a workout, if they need to.

Individual athletes or teams can also come together for sport-specific training exercises led by trainers who specialize in everything from sport/position-specific training, rehabilitation, weight loss and senior fitness. • Fourth Power Fitness
Though their individual specialties differ, Fourth Power Fitness’s staff members—a certified personal trainer, a CrossFit coach, and a former competitive boxer—compile a gym system whose goals are universal. Instructors prioritize exercises that are relevant to the body's real-life movements into a regimen that can be tackled by guests of all ages and abilities. Members can conduct solo workouts during open-gym hours or attend a variety of classes. First Fit, for example, caters to beginners with its cardio- and strength-themed circuits that are meant to tone muscles, promote weight loss, and ensure every pickle jar in each student’s home can be opened. Alternatively, Sports Performance Training strives to boost athletes' speed and power on the field. The routines in these programs abide by the four qualities—or "powers"—referenced in the gym's name: ground-based, complex, explosive, and functional. Students also participate in calisthenics and machine-based workouts, taking advantage of the facility’s amenities, which range from racks of medicine balls to the indoor track. In addition to classes, trainer Kenneth Hall also offers nutritional guidance in the form of custom meal plans.
