What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
STA Sports Performance is a results-driven training center that focuses on the individual client and their goals. We strive to be unique by tailoring work outs and nutrition to the individuals goals. We genuinely love what we do and are passionate about helping people to become their best self.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Encouragement and energy help us to keep our clients motivated - we are an incredibly positive and upbeat gym that focuses on building the client up in a way that helps them eventually have the ability to motivate themselves in the lifestyle they live.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The passion we have to help people change their life or reach a goal is what caused us to start STA Sports Performance. Our goal is simply to help clients see results and grow from those results by uncovering things they never thought they could do!
What do you love most about your job?
Having the ability to work with people of all ages and walks of life each day is by far the most rewarding part of the job. Helping these people see that they can be healthy and active at any age through their transformation is such a highlight.
Typically, at Fit2Box Fitness Studio, you'll only see one or two people working out. But don't mistake that number for a lack of interest: the absence of a crowd is by design. In order to create an intimate space where clients can focus solely on exercising and then flexing in the mirror, ACE-certified personal trainer Eric Pfahler only schedules one client or couple per hour. During that hour, Pfahler's background in boxing becomes apparent, as his fitness programs combine kickboxing and boxing movements with strength training and cardio exercises.

Barre Fitness and Beyond's founder René Giglia started dancing at the tender age of 2, and has been engaged with the art ever since. She trained at David DeMarie Dance Studio and the Royal Academy of Ballet, danced in the bandstand for American Dreams, and even appeared on Lifetime's Dance Moms show. As she grew older, though, her focus shifted from achieving flawless technique to maintaining her health and wellness. She discovered the Lotte Berk Method of barre fitness, and was instantly hooked. She became a certified teacher and then opened Barre Fitness and Beyond, where she teaches her own unique blend of dance, yoga, and Pilates in 60-minute sessions.
