I highly, highly recommend WB Family Ranches to anyone who is thinking about going horseback riding.
From the moment I called to schedule, they were incredibly accommodating. I made a last-minute appointment and they still fit me in the same day, which I truly appreciated. My friend and I were both going for the first time, and I was extremely nervous. I was literally shaking and almost let my fear stop me from riding. I was even considering just waiting for my friend to finish the trail.
But the woman there (the mom of one of the kids) was absolutely amazing. Without any hesitation or frustration, she took the time to help me. She brought out a lower horse and patiently explained everything to me about the horse, the reins, how horses feel, and how to stay calm.
Even though I was shaking, she never gave up on me or made me feel like I couldn’t do it. Instead, she encouraged me and reassured me the whole time until I was finally able to get on the horse.
What meant the most to me was that she stayed with me for the entire ride. Our trail ride was about an hour, and she walked with me the whole time to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. Her daughter was also incredibly kind and kept checking on me throughout the ride to make sure I was doing okay.
You can truly tell this is a family that has a real passion for what they do and for the people who come to ride there.
I truly can’t thank them enough. They didn’t just give me a horseback riding experience they helped me overcome a huge fear and made me feel supported and cared for the entire time.
If you’re nervous about trying horseback riding or it’s your first time, this is definitely the place to go. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
I’m so grateful for this experience and will absolutely be coming back.
